Hey, I was just wondering if you had a source on how you know the Creeping Crystals are located in the old factory ruins, I (admittedly only skimmed) my copies of the books and I couldn't find it, which book is it in? Thanks!
Not quite it. Mako says that the old Earthen Fire Refinery building is the only place big enough where Tokuga could hide stolen airships, and them being in tunnels Jargala knows means that this is in her turf, but not necessarily where Creeping Crystals headquarter is.
No, I think turf is colloquially used to refer to the area which a gang controls and uses to make profit, for example in S1E1 Korra meets the Triads and they tell her she's in their turf, and they were exploiting shopkeepers therein for money.
Hey, I don't know if you're doing it intentionally but I've noticed that on a lot of your edits you'll remove the space between the icons and the quote and the infobox, and also add a space after the infobox on some of your edits to articles. Typically speaking we prefer to have those formatted with spaces between the templates and no spaces between an infobox and the content of an article. It's not a huge deal at all as Lostris and some others have gone ahead and fixed it but I just figured I'd give you a heads up!
Dang it, again? I'm still not used to this new editor view. I had to manually go to classic editor to make sure that won't happen. This happens too at Survivor Wiki when I do the rounds. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Sorry to butt in here, but it's actually been happening to me too recently. It's weird because it didn't happen before, so I'm guessing it's some sort of FANDOM issue. So yeah, just before you publish your edits try to make sure everything's in order :P
It's a consistent problem across Wikia. The new editor takes the pages contents by face value, turning the templates into text (i.e. instead of templates appearing as templates, they show up with their component wikicodes). That's why I chose to immediately proceed with source editor to alleviate the problem, though it still persists half the time.
I exclusively edit in source editor (I've had it permanently set to use source editor since like, 2012) because I find it so much more intuitive, lol. I remember I tried to edit on some wiki a while back where they were testing this new wiki format that didn't use wikimedia but I found it unusable and left the wiki. Lol wikia (or sorry FANDOM) 9_9
I appreciate your efforts in helping to add information from the DVD commentary. However, when you do so, could you please add the reference as to where it's coming from? That is accomplished by typing <ref name="DVD[ep abbreviation here]">[[Whoever said it]] on the DVD commentary for "[[episode]]".</ref>
I happened to notice this edit summary. I just wanted to let you know that you didn't actually say such a thing, and that it isn't other user's job to verify the information you add. If you have a source for something, you need to add it, otherwise it's unverified information, and it will be removed.
I don't know to you, but I felt like doing vigilante justice on this guy. A lot of us are annoyed by him, just that barely anyone called him out for his idiocy. Anywho, for the sake of peace, I'll stop.
Yeah, about that, what exactly is the goal of the article? Because all the relevant pieces already have their own article and in it's current form, the article is way too short and irrelevant to warrant being on the wiki.
I thought that each of the big conflicts of the show (both ATLA and LoK) deserved to have their pages here. I mean, you already have the Hundred Year War, Harmony Restoration Movement, Anti-bending Revolution and the Water Tribe Civil War. With the insurrection being the plot of Book III, I thought it deserved a page. Unless the "Long Live the Queen" episode has yet to air (I have no idea if the episode was leaked or already aired in the US, which is the problem caused by the shift to digital), you may delete the page if it seems spoiler-y for you.
That episode has yet to air, so any information from that episode will be reverted and/or deleted upon sight. Considering the imminent release of that episode, the page is fine to stay, since it only covers what we know thus far, but I was just confused by the practice of publishing a page and then more or less leaving it unfinished in hopes someone else would complete it.
Just a friendly reminder: if you are going to update the pages with info from The Search Part 3, then please do not forget to license your additions, lest they can be removed due to being perceived as speculation by those who have not read the comic (yet).
I know that's why I removed it immediately. It's not even the best quality (I resized the image because the image is so large). I apologize. I am not a badge editor. I am an admin in another wiki for goodness's sake.
I know you are. You mentioned that. Whether or not you're an admin on another wiki is completely irrelevant. This is Avatar Wiki, and you're not an admin on here. I have the power to delete images, however per policy, I'm not supposed to. It's different for every wiki, and you keep asking me to delete it - which I can't due to the fact that, again, I'm not an admin, and Lostris, who is an admin, has already deleted it.
