  • Since you seem to be caught up with the comics and have a general idea of the timeline, do you know where "Sisters" and "Shells" fit within the chronology of comics? "Sisters" doesn't seem to have any time indicators and the only logical placement I can think of. Same with "Shells", apart from the fact that it happens after "The Promise"; I assumed it would've been sometime after "The Rift" since that's the only time I can think of where Sokka and Suki would've been able to have an outing.

    • Butting in. SS1 starts with them returning from Hiraa with Ursa, and at one point, you see Zuko asking Iroh to take his place in the Yu Dao ceremony that takes place in the beginning of TR1.

  • Hey DFT, quick question: do you take the image you upload for Smoke and Shadow yourself or do you get them from a site somewhere? I'm asking because their quality is always a bit off in terms of them being too sharpened, causing the images to be too pixelated, and I was wondering if that was something you did yourself or someone else on a site.

  • Hey DFT, could you please add the source for your two images taken from "Sisters"?

    • I downloaded the comic in high quality some time ago, but I don't know where it came from. Sorry.

    • It'll show up eventually, though please try to remember for future references. The source parameter isn't meant to link to the comic article on the wiki, it's meant to link to the place on the internet the image came from.

  • Hey DFT, I just want to clarify my note on the Jinora proposal (and since it's quite irrelevant to do that on the PIC page, I'm sending you a message :-)): I didn't mean to make it sound like I was singling out for opposing it -as you are definitely in your right to disagree. I just said what I said as a general note for others to consider. Since I could've made that clearer, I'm sending you this message to explain it and emphasize that I really didn't mean to single you out or make you feel like you had to explain yourself further.

  • Hey! I have a question about the videogame that just came out. See, in my Xbox the price comes out as $14.99, but I don't knwo how many Microsoft points that would be. Is that even a way to download the game? If not then how can I get it without using a credit card? I'm sorry for bothering you about a thing that might sound pretty stupid, but I am anything but a gamer xD. Thanks!

  • hi there,

just fyi, we know it was a goof b/c that guard metalbent earlier: one pulled zaheer over the moat with a metal cable, and another metalbent the panel over to block the lava blob from ghazan. those two guards then turned to fight zaheer. a third guard came foward from behind, but was knocked out right away. the two metalbenders continued to fight zaheer, and were seen again still fighting him as lin and su saved korra. that's when one of them firebent, right before zaheer blew them away and flew after lin.

sorry that was too long lol

    • We can't know if these guys were the same ones. Lots of guards were running around. One could have replaced another.

The thing is: A normal goof is when something isn't rightly colored or when a detail is missing. That happens. But a Metal Clan guard that firebends? The whole animation would have to be one big goof, the guard bending, the movements, the fire, all of it. Thats too much. Nevertheless, thats objective and one can still say "Well, than thats a big goof then". I can see your point.

But we must take what we have. Fact is, we see a guard, but not his/her face. We see him/her firebend. We saw other guards metalbend. Of course it could be a goof, but there is no proof for that. We just see one guard firebending. As long as we can't identify this guard as the one you mentioned and proof that the guard metalbends and firebends in the same episode, we can't count it as goof but have to take it as canon.

And anyway, I don't see a problem with a Zaofu guard firebending. Lin herself is from the URN. According to her, the Metal Clan came from all over the world, so some Fire Nation folks could migrated into Zaofu as well.

But per HoT, we also have no confirmation that the firebending guard is native to the EK, so we can't list it on the "Firebending" articlef anyway, making this discussion invalid  ;)

Nevertheless, I still wanted to point my position out. ^^

  • hey DFT, quick question for you... on this edit, where in that episode did it say that makapu village became part of the URN? wondering b/c they were never a FN colony.

  • Hey, DFT

I was just wondering what the actual wording of the commentary is (in regards to this edit). I don't have access to the commentary, and was wondering whether it stated explicitly that he was a certain age, or born in a certain year (or both).
