Thanks, thanks, but I'm really flattered, I still can't believe to be nominated by this community and on top of that receive so much support.^^ Oh, and as always optimistic person and with a currently very quiet and comfortable existence, I really pleased by my life. :D
And well, I just love to write and share my thoughts with others, thus I also came to love to expand articles on the wiki. Especially when I had the feeling that a character or article section did not got the attention it deserved - just like in case of the Dai Li leader.^^
Honestly, not much.^^ I have heard that you are very dedicated and skilled writer in this regard, but I have to admit that I haven't read any fanon from you so far. Well, I definitely have to catch up in this regard.
This image needs origin sourcet , DFT.. I saw it and looking for the similar image in the whole episode (piandao.org|source) but I can't find it. ^^" Can you link me the origin? If thare is a comic about Book 2, then tell me! I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with that.
I found it most interesting your little addition to the EK history deal at the Ch'in page lately ^_^
This was a part of the great confusion between Kyoshi to Aang's reign you know? an rather unexplained part of the kingdom, that made many suspicious of it (why the EK had no power? why it has fallen to this state, etc etc)
Well, I was always rather interested in minor characters. Chin never got much screen time, but after gathering a little bit information, I had the feeling that he never got the attention he deserved, so I added infos to his articles.
Nice that you noticed that. I always appreciate it when my favorites like Chin get some attention. :)
He's one of my favorite side characters also. In fact I'd rather have him as a main character in a book than some other villain. And I'm somewhat fed up with stuff about Ozai, even being a fan of the FN myself. (personal opinion).
I don't know why, but he surely seems the 'tough guy' with the usual badassness ripe for a new good story, comic or anything else. (another note: his hat is sooo awesome!! the republic city would die of a heart stoke by just seeing it trolololol!)
Like you said, those side characters are often important to the development of an future plot like Yakone to Tarlok/Noatak or Azulon's 'despise' attitude against Ozai possibly made him a different man, as his father favoured Iroh instead right?
And those 'one-shot' or 'few times spoken' side characters are quite interesting! =)
Yeah, that's exactly how I see it too. More attention to the minors! =)
But well, that's why I expanded the aticle about Chin's war so greatly; after all I wrote the whole aftermatch section. I wanted more people to pay attention on the minors and solve some confusion about the time you mentioned above.
(Plz excuse my bad english; it's not my native language)
But if you don't like the Republic City setting, then I hope that the second season will be able to satisfy you. Since its main locations will be the water tribes, the southern air temple and the spirit world - less developed places.
And I think that the next Avatar show (if they produce one more) should be a prequel - for example about the founding of the Earth Kingdom. That would be cool. =)
I sincerely hope so, as more settings outside that huge 'barge of pollution' would be adorable! Qin likes that!!it means more nature, and smaller cities.
That could would do wonders to many angry fans, hah including me.
If they actually DO consider an next avatar show, a prequel would be wonderful. Founding of the earth kingdom ? woooow, impressive, most impressive.
I always enjoyed much stuff in the earth kingdom, the way they depicted its story, geography and present or historical characters (from that little information aobut earth king Yi Ming to Ch'in the conqueror to current earth king, Kuei) so... here we go!!
We'd like to thank you for your creativity in creating a brand new fan fiction story or fanon article.
In order to maintain a high quality of stories on Avatar Wiki, we routinely check new submissions for basic standards. Unfortunately, the sophistication and quality of your new submission was not yet up to our standards, and we have moved your article to User:DyingFlameTsui /Fanon:Battle for Yu Dao.
Once you have improved your article at the location it has been moved to, feel free to leave a message on the fanon noticeboard where respondents will again evaluate your article. If standards have been sufficiently met, your article will then be moved back to its original title.
