I saw your edit summaries asking for the deletion of all your fanon works. Are you sure about that? The user rename can easily be fixed by bot if you'd like to keep them around. If not, then I'll delete your fanons later today.
It is not about the username, it’s about the content of the fanons themselves. I made the pages when I was waaaaay younger and didn’t yet have a firm grasp of the English language. Moreover, content wise, the stories are bad (like REALLY bad). That is why I want them deleted.
The only reason why I'm leaving "ante bellum" as two words now is due to the Wikipedia page on "status quo ante bellum". The page also nicely points out that your reasoning of it "ONLY" being used to refer to the pre-civil war era in America is ONLY correct from an American point of view, since "the term antebellum is, in the United States, usually associated with the period before the American Civil War, while in Europe and elsewhere with the period before World War I."
I do, however, concede to the implied idea that it as such always refers to a more specific pre-war era -which one depends on your own geographical location and background- and not a general pre-war era. An argument could be made that in Avatar universe, which is the way all articles on this wiki are written, there is also only one specific pre-war era (even though there have been multiple wars) that would be referred to as such (which is again similar to the eras preceding the World War and the Civil War), namely the pre-Hundred Year War era. Following that reasoning, the use of antebellum as one word would be correct.
As said at the start of this message though, the use of the word in combination with "status quo" seems to favor a separated spelling as opposed to it being one word, which is the apparently only correct reasoning for the separated spelling.
Hey guys! Yeahhh, just gonna drop in right before what would have been my one-year anniversary of no updates. But hey, it's here! Come check out the reemergence of Silent Hero in Emerald if you dare o_o
I am working on them, the fanon hasn't been discontinued or anything, you don't have to worry about that, but I have tons of school work that has to be done and I'm currently writting a book in real life with other historians, so I'll need some time for some R&R. I'm expecting to realease the next few chapters in about two to three monts, when I'll have time during the May-week school break. In the meantime, I'm certain there are more fantastic fanon series, most better than mine, on the wiki, so you should have tons of stuff to go thru.
P.S., I'm willing to accept suggestions you might have, regarding the plot of the fanon, and I'll be happy to incorporate them. :)
But why? They are characters who had several cameo appearances trough two episodes. Plus, they are one of the few characters of the Dai Li, seen in the Legend of Korra (besides the Dai Li sergeant, and he got a page).
Because they were just shown to be generic Dai Li agents. There were more guards than just those two as shown when an entire battalion of Dai Li agents emerged after the airbenders escaped. We already have the perfect page to display their info on, there is no reason to create a separate page. It's not because we can that we should and it's not because there is page A that we need page B.
Thank you for trying to help out, however the images you have been uploading have not been of high enough quality for the wiki. Please take a look at the image policy—it will tell you the correct quality and ratios we format our images with.
I'm sorry, but after initially removed all the irrelevant history that you just copied from Hou-Ting's page, the information that was left was not nearly enough to warrant a page for this event. That is normal, considering that the assassination was not exactly planned. It just happened. Which limits the relevant info the the sentence "Zaheer asphyxiated Hou-Ting" and to the consequences of that fact, though both are already sufficiently documented on every page that has to do with the Red Lotus and the anarchy of the EK.
