We know that Hou-Ting acually allied and used the Dai Li during her reign, and that Kuei was betrayed by them during the Hundred Year War. We don't know, however, their uses and relationship with the monarchs between the 46th and post Hundred year war, with Kuei, the 52nd. Would the Dai Li have been "used" by some of the monarchs like Hou-Ting did, or been covers and betrayers of/for some of the monarchs, like with Kuei?
Considering how Zaheer killed the Earth Queen, by taking the air out of her lungs, could other airbenders before the hundred year war do the same with Zaheer's method? I know they were peaceful, but they could use that as defense at will. If they did, would they have done this while trying to protect themseles during the Fire Nation's invasion of the Air temples?
I don't think they would, considering they are monks and gentle spirits. They thought as Aang said: They think that they think all life is sacred, even the one of a spiderfly caught on its own web. So I don't think so.
These are the four things about book 3 in the trivia that are nods about the series. The ones in bold are ones that have seemed to have been fulfiled, while the ones in italics are ones I am not sure on calling "fulfiled" yet. What are your guys' opinions on this?
BTW, sorry if this has already been posted in some form. All other posts about book 3 I have seen are just about things relating to Zaheer's gang and continuity. Thanks for your opinions!
Just to ask guys, but are PNG photos better to use in the wiki than JPG's? Apparently the JPG shots I upload are somewhat blurry, while the PNG photos I see on the other recent articles fare better....
Let's take some time to make some different predictions for book 3. Even though we saw the heart of the Earth Kindgom for one episode, there's still so much to wonder. Is the Earth Queen acting like a whole new person instead of inviting? She blames Zuko and Aang for the Earth Kindgom's problems, and takes the shame of the 100 year war in the Earth Kingdom to a whole new level. Also, the Dai Li are STILL ACTIVE?!?! I'm pretty sure there was bound to be a desolution by Kuei!
At this time, we don't have enough officially-released information on her to make an article. It would be best to wait until at least Friday, after the third episode officially airs, to make an article on her, as we should have enough by then.
