    • So would you say more people like Korra or hate it cause at this point it seems more are hating it.

        Loading editor
    • I'd say there was more Korra lovers, but it seems the criticism does not come with ANY form of praise.

  • Am I the only one who thinks he looks like a girl in that shot? And what happened to his hair and goatie?

      Loading editor
    • I'm guessing that was him when he was younger, maybe in his teens. I don't know if the trailer was telling the truth, but it seems that when he communicates with Korra in the trailer, he appears in this form, which might be evidence that each generation of the Avatar has a preferred form of their prime when they appear in the Spirit World.

For 10,000 years into the past, his hair is unnaturally spiky lol.

        Loading editor
    • Frankly, he looked better with his hair down and a goatie on his chin.

Indeed this is what I thought! XD

    • I guess when the creators say he used his bloodbending just a little nit, they meant it.

The only time we see Amon chi block was once on Korra.

        Loading editor
    • More like he just hit the snooze button XD

Anyway, whats your take on how the equalists were handled in the show?

This is a video from a guy Ive been following for a long time, he does Avatar reviews and Korra video reviews, he hates LOK (season 1 that is) and the link is what he thought of the equalists. Its only like 7 minutes so its not that long, what are your thoughts on his points?

  • Hey Atomic! I wanted to say that you have a great creatitivity and understanding of how this show works. I was wondering if you could help me flesh out my Book 3 theory. Also, its nice to meet a fellow Attack on Titan fan! P.S. Wafku looks pretty cool.

    • Cool titles. How about empathy/telepathy for enegybending abilites? Also that sounds like a great villain. I hope we can continue this convo later. I have to do stuff around the house.

        Loading editor
    • I'm guessing empathy because Guru Pathik is able to read a person/animals chi. Pathik did make have to make physical contact with Appa to sense his emotions. It would be cool though if the villain were to remark that he sensed her fear.

Yup, alright see ya! Looking forward to talking to you again.

    • It will be boring without someone who takes the time to point out the flaws of something I like!

And now I have to go for tonight, have fun in Virginia!

    • We'll see where I am come September. I kept telling myself I'd vanish once Book 2 comes out, and I may be doing that.

But for now I must vanish for a week in Virginia. Thanks for that, see you next weekend maybe.

  • Hey atomic. I see you're the theory man, eh? Anyway, I'll just get right down to my dream villain. A young boy around 16 years old in the Air Nomad right before The genocide. Okay, it's kind of obvious that some AN survived. He was the most talented Airbender in The Northern Air Temple, so once the genocide came. He was prepared along with some other Air Nomads. He was kicking ass against the firebenders and saving The kids by putting them on the bison, to escape. They brought some adults as well, since they needed them to protect the children. There were so many that the airbenders were dying right and left. He was scared out of his mind, then he saw Sozin. They were staring at each other, so out of fear he flew out with his glider and Sozin was so close to about nailing him with lighting. He went and on of the bisons and vowed to get revenge not on the fire nation, but mostly on that monster, Sozin.

He was training very hard, and decided to join the military to kill Sozin easier. He quickly joined higher in the military ranks. One day, he was on the same boat with Sozin. And brought a few other airbenders, he went to Sozin. And said "Surprise, surprise". Sozin threw a bunch of fireballs at him, but he quickly dodged them With ease. After dodging the fireballs, he quickly nailed him with an air blast. Sozin was pleading for him not to kill him. Shang (The airbender), was going threw a mental breakdown whether to kill him or not. But a flashback hit him about the fall of the AN, and then stabbed Sozin with a sword. And placed Sozin on his bed, so people would of thought he had a peaceful death. He gathered his AN army, but later in more people would join.

As he was getting more powerful, he decided to stay hidden while his men recruited people. To not him generic, he found a way for him to be all 4 elements. (That's all I got)

    P.S. I know it won't happen.

    • RIGHT!? Only RC fashion trends demand your hair to be short and stylish. Only a generous handful keep their hair traditional. Since the Dai Li are masters of deception and times have changed, I think they should adapt their appearance to fit in this modern society, but then again, they are the guardians of culture...

        Loading editor
    • I'm very sad and disappointed for that. Hair might not mean much in modern society which regards appearance as something "trivial" with the sole purpose of looking good/sex appeal/other reasons society has, but in almost every tribe and ancient true culture hair has its importance also, or beard, etc.

The queue was very important to the manchurians, which the dai li [and all BSS] were inspired upon. Just like the topknot to the Chinese represented such an important thing that cutting off the topknot represented cutting off a head. same for Koreans, japanese, etc

Maybe the Dai Li could find a way to conceal their queues or something else?? =X and yes, since they're guardians of culture they're expected to be really BA and stuff.

  • You seem to have a lot of speculations on book two. I was just wondering if what you posted are all of them or if there are any more, because if you don't mind I'd like to hear them.
