Jojo, also known as the Kissing Bandit, was a beautiful maiden from the Earth Kingdom. A beautiful seductress, this clever young earthbender's trademark was the red-lipstick mark she left as she kissed the left side of her male victims. Her beauty and relatively benign modus operandi left Earth Kingdom authorities tolerant, while some even fantasized about being her victim. She also stole from the Fire Nation, as she was often shown blocking firebending attacks and using her own bending to retaliate.
After Jojo saw a wanted poster of AvatarAang, she fell in love with her fellow outcast. Jojo also ambushed the cabbage merchant and needed to evade Katara's water whip attack, after the young Southern Water Tribe girl found out that the Kissing Bandit had been stealing from her.
