Jin Wei was a young woman who lived in a small Earth Kingdom port town that was occupied by the Fire Nation military.^[1] Under their control, she and her ill grandfather were treated unfairly by the Fire Nation invaders.

History Edit

When the Fire Nation invaded her village, a group of soldiers stole her grandfather's herbal soup; consequently, her grandfather's bones started to hurt. Although wanting to help, Jin Wei was not brave enough to enter the Fire Nation barracks herself, so she explained her dilemma to Aang, who was able to successfully retrieve and return the soup to her. Afterward, she thanked the Avatar for his help.^[1]
