Jennomite, also known as Creeping Crystal, is a mineral that grows at ridiculous speeds. The Jennomite is fashioned into rings and placed over a person's finger. The mineral grows around the finger and over the body until it has encased the victim within. It is unknown if a person that that is encased within the mineral dies or is simply trapped.

Jennomite is actually made up up an edible sucrose-like substance that can reproduce itself at a constant rate when in contact with an organism. For this reason, it falls under the category of "rock candy".

In "The King of Omashu", King Bumi used rings made out of Jennomite, attached to Sokka and Katara, to coerce Aang into completing three challenges and freed them after Aang completed them, the remains were subesquently consumed by Bumi and Momo.

In "Sozin's Comet, Part 3: Into The Inferno, after retaking Omashu on the day of black sun, Bumi crunches on a small piece of Jennomite.
