Jennifer Hale is a Canadian-born actress and singer. She voiced Kyoshi, June, and an additional character across three episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, reprising the role of Kyoshi in one episode of The Legend of Korra.

Hale grew up in the United States, attending the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, Alabama. While in high school, Hale began working as a production assistant, and after graduating, she worked as an actress, commuting between Birmingham and Atlanta. She got her first big break in the 1988 TV movie A Father's Homecoming.
Hale later moved to Hollywood and has worked as a voice actor in a number of mediums, including video games, animation, and movies, since 1993. She has also been a guest on several well-known TV shows, including Charmed, ER, and Just Shoot Me!, where she was sometimes credited as Carren Learning. Hale voiced Cinderella and Princess Aurora in Disney's House of Mouse, and has continued to voice the former princess in subsequent film appearances. She later voiced Bastila Shan for the popular video games Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II ā The Sith Lords; she has also voiced various characters on Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Hale lent her voice to Naomi Hunter and various other characters in the Metal Gear Solid series of video games, as well as the female version of Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect series.
