A social media presence is very important to the success of sites like Avatar Wiki, which is why we have active Facebook and Twitter accounts. An increasing proportion of Avatar fans are also present on Tumblr, so in order to maximise the promotion of our sites, I would like authorisation to create a Tumblr account for Avatar Wiki. Like our Twitter account, we would include items such as news and interesting site tidbits. Access must be very strictly limited for security purposes, but in my opinion, it would be great if a few of us post on behalf of the wiki on a regular basis. - Also, it's possible for those with existing accounts to be authorised to post on an Avatar Wiki Tumblr sideblog, so it's easier than the setup for our Facebook and Twitter. The 888th Avatar (talk) 08:55, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

This sounds like a great idea. There's an enormous A:TLA/LoK fanbase on Tumblr and they treat the Wiki like the final say in any argument, so they'd be happy and proud to follow and it would be good publicity. I'd also be very willing to be a moderator for the blog. Uiop60 03:21, July 9, 2012 (UTC)
