Pabu. The only character in LoK that still has his concept art for his image. There was recently an image proposed for a change, but it was immediately denied because it had been "submitted in the past without success". In Pabu's case, we need to overlook that. I think that the "this image has recently been proposed without success" rule is a good rule. I can see how constantly dealing with images that have been already been rejected in the past would be a real pain; however, I think that there are good reasons to "overlook" this rule in special circumstances. I recall submitting a proposal similar (or identical) to the one that was recently rejected, and it was rejected on the grounds that it did not depict Pabu as he normally is (that is, without clothes). My response to this (which I did not do at the time, because I was a rookie user and had no idea of how or where to do it) would be to say that even though Pabu doesn't normally wear clothes, it should be permissible as a profile picture because (a) he is indeed the mascot of the Fire Ferrets team, so it is not unusual or out of character and (b) the image quality and accuracy of the proposed picture is better than the concept picture that is currently being used as the profile. I would even go as far as to argue that (c) any semi-decent picture of Pabu from any episode is better than the current picture we have now, simply because the current picture DOES NOT represent Pabu accurately in any way (except for the fact that Pabu is a Fire Ferret). Keeping the current picture would be like using a screenshot of Aang from the unaired pilot episode, which just seems silly to me.Zuqiu85 (wall • contribs) 17:00, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
