[edit] Avatar Spirit Images

Can this wikia please use images that aren't from Avatar Spirit? They ruin the quality of the images as well as make the wikia and pages look bad. Why not just watch the episodes on Turbonick and take screenshots yourselves there? 208.157.148.130 04:06, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Fan sites as AvatarSpirit and DongbuFeng have DVD screenshots, those are of great quality and most of the images we get from them are DVD ones. Omnibender 22:00, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Is there a sandbox around here, or should someone (I would do it) make one? In addition, at the bottom of the page when you are editing, this template says that "For testing, please use a sandbox.". Is there a place I can plug Fan History's Avatar: The Last Airbender article? And would it be possible for a regular contributor to this wiki to drop by Fan History, edit the article to include information about this wiki, maybe create a page on Fan History about Avatar Wiki? Thanks! (And completely unrelated, anyone from the Chicago area, Wiki Wednesday, Chicago is being held on July 9. Hey, it's me again. I saw the Wanted categories page and I want to help, but I don't know how to make a new category and I can;t find out how. Any help? Master Storm ^{(Talk to me)} 02:22, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

To make a category, the new article has to have Category: name. The index category, for example, is [[Category:Index]], but the title is Category:Index. Omnibender 15:36, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

They have begun to replay the whole series from the beginning at 7/6c on Nicktoons Network they started a few days ago so idk if anyone wants to put that on the avatar news or not.

There's just not enough info to make a page on Nomads, when a subject in info thin, we don't bother making it, instead, we add the information to a related article. Here's an example: in the Serpent's Pass, one of the characters was Than's sister, Than being the father of the baby girl. We used to have an article on her, but since there was very little info on her, we just moved the info on her to Than, her brother. Pretty much everything we can say on the nomads is already mentioned in those four characters pages. The most useful thing I can see from Nomad is making a disambiguation for those four characters and the Air Nomads. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:38, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

It's included in the episode, right? Why do we need an extra page if all the information on it is all on the episode page? some of that info isn't even about the conical hat!

On the subject of the card game (Sports and Games in the World of Avatar), if you look at the cards, you can see in one episode that Iroh is stacking up different elements, and in the other, Katara and Sokka are stacking up piles of the same elements. -Gaylesking

Again, In response to your edit of my Leechi Nuts page: In one of the final episodes of the Earth book, Zuko says to Uncle (while taking orders in the Jasmine Dragon), "Uncle! I need three jasmine, four (I forget what type of tea) and two leechi." Also, this type of tea is listed under Tea, alternatively spelled lychee. -Gaylesking

The simplest method for me to explain here is go to Avatar Wiki:Community Portal. Scroll down, you will see this nice big section called "Create an Avatar Article!" Type in the name of the article you want, press "Create", and you can then start your page. The 888th Avatar ^(Talk) 12:20, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Actually, it's my opinion that this way is more complicated. The other way is to type the title into the search bar, as would be done for an existing article, and then click the one red link at the top of the search results page. This red link has the title of the page you want to create; i.e. "Editing (page)". You then create it from there. --Energybender 23:08, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
