I propose that the user group, the Boomeraang Squad is deleted. The group was created to improving original Team Avatar articles, but does not seem to have a large enough history of doing such. Most if not all of the original Team Avatar articles were already A-Class before the group's creation.

Two out of three in the people in this group have never edited any Team Avatar articles since joining the group, and the one user who has only made minor improvements. The group doesn't even have a talk page set up, so there is no collaboration on within the group on what articles to improve, what is fine, etc.

Even the founder of the group has left, claiming that founding this group was not a good idea.

It seems to me that this user group is unproductive, and serves no purpose to the community, therefore I believe that this group should be deleted.

Thoughts? Truly Pabu Sprite Ferret 18:37, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

I don't believe it should be deleted, it's fairly new. How you contacted the group's members about deleting this group? ThebigOfan 18:42, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

I went and checked. ATFF has a point, however I think we should wait a while beforedoing anything. I propose we give the Boomeraang Squad a chance to make themselves a beneficial addition to this Wiki. If they don't people can consider the deletion Korra Sprite-01 Katara PL Sprite The Master Waterbender Katarasprite1 Yue Sprite (My Fanon) 18:57, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

They've been around since July, more than enough time to have done something, and besides there is barely anything left to do. The articles are all already A-Class, no improvements are really needed. Truly Pabu Sprite Ferret 19:01, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

Well, now seeing as they've had time since July I agree. There really is no need for the Boomeraang Squad because we already have regular users editing and helping to keep articles high-quality. I founded that group, and yes, I do believe it was a mistake. The articles should be left up to the Fire Sages user group and the Standards Council. SixMoodyDwarves Sokka Sprite Season 1 Voltorb Is Back! Sokka-wolf-c1 23:03, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

I agree. Although there is always room for improvement on an article, ATFF is right; at A-class there is not a higher standard that this group can bring them to. Annawantimes (Talk) 23:07, August 20, 2012 (UTC)
Per Annawan and ATFF, I also agree. If one of those pages does need to be helped eventually then the Fire Sages can elect it for working or another user can fix it up (I would be willing to). WaterbenderTaikai Bolin sprite 23:13, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

With all the points given, I now support the deletion of the group. The Big O Fan Bolin sprite Be the leaf 16:33, August 22, 2012 (UTC)

I agree, helping improve pages on Team Avatar's original adventures is such a broad topic to start with, and it's already covered by many other long-time, well-run groups. BlackMonkey Talk - Rhythm 22:47, August 22, 2012 (UTC)
