Trivia of this nature may be kept so long as it is relevant to the nature of a character. |

If you'll notice on several character trivias, therein are provided several name translations into various terms, or similarly named things throughout the world. My question is - what exactly is the relevance to the character? Aren't trivias supposed to be relevant to whatever they're describing (and without speculation, e.g. "This may be a reference to...")? As a result, I propose we remove such trivias on the grounds of irrelevancy; saying for example that "Aang means 'three' in Turkish" (I know it doesn't, just providing a random example) really doesn't tell us anything about him.

- I support this proposal. Most things are simply irrelevant or speculation. I also think we should remove run-on notes. Technology Wizard Wall Contribs 17:05, August 13, 2012 (UTC)
I think they should stay as long as it's relevant to the character. For example, let's say Sokka means humorous in french, the translation is relevant to Sokka because Sokka is known for his humorous personality. But something like Sokka means sandwich in Arabic is irrelevant and shouldn't be added to the trivia section. ThebigOfan 17:11, August 13, 2012 (UTC)

As with all other information regarding a character, as long as it is relevant and effectively written to show this relevance to people who are familiar and people who are unfamiliar with the particular topic, it should remain on the page. WEFAang (wall • contribs) 01:47, August 14, 2012 (UTC)
