Most of the newer users might not know that there is a site called Avatar Anwers Wiki. The wiki is in a very bad shape and needs some cleaning which I and Lady Lostris have started doing along with the two active users already there. See this blog (forget the adminship part). I propose a policy page written for the wiki which will be no more than 1 page as it doesn't need more. It also needs a regular updation (which includes nominations and votes) of the featured question which has been the same for atleast 2 months. The voting of the featured question should be the same as the featured page here. Any more suggestions for the betterment of the wiki are welcome. Seeing that I am one of the people who has spent many hours by now answering and cleaning up good/bad/stupid/inappropriate questions, I can only say that I am in favor of this suggestion. Natsu and I have bothered 888th a couple of times already to ask him to delete several questions, but there has to be a better way than that. The wiki is indeed in bad shape, so I hope that we can clean it up and make it more accessable to inexperienced users, so the boatload of redundant questions can stop. I believe that many users don't know how to navigate that wiki, so instead of checking if their question has already been answered, they rather just pose it again. I can tell you, after a while it gets quite annoying answering the same questions over and over again. We should also set some clear categories the questions can be added to, because now there are categories as "how old?" and "age", which as you all can see, are exactly the same or meaningless categories as "what", "how" and "who". I can only hope that after we cleaned it up, more people will bother taking a look at that wiki to answer a question here and there, because most of them are really easy, so literaly everyone can do. As said by 888 here, I would also like to request adminship now. Here's a formal request:

I, Natsu11, request for Administrator rights on the Avatar Answers Wiki. I have answered many questions and have categorised many questions in the relevant categories. I have also categorised many bad questions, spam questions and irrevelant questions as bad questions. I use the "Random Page" button to find the questions to answer. If I get admin rights, I promise that I will never abuse them and will only use them for the improvement of the wiki. I have had a quick browse of the Answers Wiki in the last week, and it is a mess. Even this afternoon there were very odd questions. I fully support Natsu's request, and I would even go as far to also nominate Lady Lostris for this position as well. I have been following a lot of the reports on The 888th Avatar's talk page, and most from Nat and Lostris. For my reasons stated above, I support this request. That portal really needs some help and Natsu seems very motivated to do it.
Thank you Rass, it means a lot that someone thinks that I am worthy of adminship, but I don't know if the portal really needs two admins though. There is a lot of work that needs to be done right now, but I think that once there is a new active admin, most of those... interesting questions will be deleted right away and the maintenance work will be a lot easier, so a second admin might be a bit redundant. Wordmark prototype.

I don't know, I think a watermark of the bending signs could proof to be a nice change. And the layout of the logo is pretty much the same as that of this wiki, so the signs won't create too much of a difference. I don't know how hard it is for you to make that change Rass, but otherwise you can maybe put the two options beside each other. Lady Lostris 12:03, June 22, 2011 (UTC)
