The Flower Shop is a small place near to the Misty Palms Oasis, located in the Si Wong Desert, the largest desert in the Earth Kingdom and the world. The shop is dedicated to flower arranging, but it also is a secret quarter of the Order of the White Lotus.

The flower shop is a small room with shelves with many types of plants on the walls of the sides, leaving a narrow corridor in the middle, leading to a door. Passing through it, there is a back room, but it is smaller and all it has only a Pai Sho tile: the lotus tile, symbol of the Order of the White Lotus, in the floor in the center of the room.

After escape from the Rough Rhinos, Zuko and Iroh traveled to the Si Wong Desert. Back at the Misty Palms Oasis, Xin Fu and Yu noticed a Fire Nation wanted posters as well as Iroh and Zuko arriving into a bar. Iroh saw someone at the Pai Sho table and thought he may be the friend they are looking for. Xin Fu wanted to go after them, but Master Yu pointed out they may be in over their heads given where they are and they should show patience and wait for the right moment to go after them. Iroh approached the Pai Sho table and asked to play. After beginning with the lotus tile, the friend, Fung, and Iroh began what appeared to be a ritualistic game understood by the two of them. Xin Fu lost his patience and went for Iroh and Zuko, but Fung created a diversion, causing the rest of the people in the establishment to fight with two would-be captors while Iroh and Zuko escaped. Iroh and Zuko were led into a flower shop by Fung. Zuko, still unconvinced as to how playing Pai Sho will help them, makes a derisive statement about flower arranging. After a cryptic exchange through a speakeasy-type opening, Iroh and Fung entered into a back room, but Zuko was shut out and made to wait in the flower shop as it is "members only". When the reunion finished, Iroh told Zuko they will traveled to Ba Sing Se, the Earth Kingdom capital, because there had many refugees and they could pass inadvertent. After they left the flower shop, leaving it in two flowerpots to hide from the bounty hunters and with the help of Fung; Xin Fu and Master Yu entered into the flower shop looking for them. Xin Fu knocked down the door to the back room, but he found only a lotus tile in the center of the room's floor.
