@KaneC: With American animation, the voices are recorded first - the animators take cues from the voice actors. It's not about "sounding right" - the voice actors are chosen on how much they personify that characters. When you dub the show to sell to the foreign markets, then you choose the voice actors based on the characters, i.e. finding a "suitable voice".

@TAF: Look at how much Green Hornet, GI Joe, the Hulk movies, and Rango made, and estimate how much Green Lantern and X-MEN First Class will make. $130 million is actually pretty good, and definitely more than what the studios hoped for.
