Scott Aversano (born 1970) is an American producer, and one of several producers of the film The Last Airbender. Aversano was educated at The Lawrenceville School (Diploma 1987), Brown University (A.B. 1991) and The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he earned an M.A. in English Literature in 1996. As a producer, his other film credits include Failure to Launch, Team America: World Police, Changing Lanes, Orange County, and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. In August 2006, Aversano was named President of MTV Films and Nick Movies.
