Suki to Sokka.[1]
Suki and Sokka train

Suki taught Sokka the ways of the Kyoshi Warriors during their very first encounter.

Suki and Sokka first met when she and the other Kyoshi Warriors ambushed him, Aang, and Katara, who were temporarily visiting her homeland, Kyoshi Island. While he initially disliked Suki and expressed his displeasure being bested by "a bunch of girls", after Suki again humiliated him during a sparring match, Sokka was humbled and personally asked Suki to train him. Suki agreed to teach Sokka on the condition that he follows all of the Kyoshi Warriors' traditions and rules, which included wearing their traditional warrior dress. Sokka reluctantly agreed and began his training with Suki, whom he eventually managed to knock down during a sparring session. The two continued training together until Prince Zuko arrived on Kyoshi Island, at which point the warriors battled with him, but they could not defeat the firebender and prevent him from torching the village. Realizing they needed to part ways, Sokka apologized for his earlier sexist remarks, noting that he treated Suki like a girl when he should have treated her like a warrior. Suki retorted that she was a warrior, but that she was a girl too, before kissing Sokka's cheek, causing him to blush.[2]

When Aang was arrested in Chin Village for murdering Chin in his past life as Kyoshi, Sokka and Katara journeyed to Kyoshi Island to gather evidence that would prove his innocence. When Sokka inquired to Oyaji as to Suki's whereabouts, Oyaji informed him that Suki and the other warriors had left to fight in the Hundred Year War, having been inspired by Team Avatar during their earlier visit. Sokka was visibly disappointed by the news of her absence.[3]

Sokka and Suki would soon be reunited at Full Moon Bay during the team's journey to Ba Sing Se. Clad in a security guard outfit and without her makeup, Suki grabbed and interrogated Sokka, who did not recognize her until she kissed him on the cheek. Happily reunited, Suki decided to help Sokka and the rest of Team Avatar in escorting a group of refugees across the Serpent's Pass. Much to her annoyance, Sokka was very protective of her, still traumatized by the loss of Princess Yue. When Suki confronted him about it, Sokka explained that he had recently lost someone he cared about and could not bear to lose Suki as well. The warrior understood and expressed how important Sokka was to her and that she had missed him before leaning in to kiss him under the bright moon; however, Sokka pulled back before she could kiss him. The following day, Suki revealed to Sokka that she had joined up with Team Avatar to ensure they made it through the Serpent's Pass safely, much to Sokka's surprise. Suki then apologized for trying to kiss Sokka but was cut off when he kissed her instead, commencing their romantic relationship.[4]

Sokka and Suki did not meet again for a while following Suki's capture and imprisonment at the hands of Princess Azula.[5] During the Day of Black Sun, following a battle between the two of them, Azula taunted Sokka, mockingly stating that Suki used to mention him all the time while imprisoned but gave up on him when he never came to rescue her. This caused Sokka to shed a single tear and charge at Azula in a blind emotional rage, demanding she reveals Suki's whereabouts.[6]

Sokka and Suki kiss in prison

Sokka reunited with Suki in the Boiling Rock during his mission to free her and his father.

Sokka and Suki finally reunited again at the Boiling Rock, where she was imprisoned. Sokka, disguised as a prison guard, flirted with Suki and joked that while she may not recognize him, perhaps she would recognize his kiss, a callback to Suki's flirtation at Full Moon Bay. When he tried to kiss her, however, Suki pushed Sokka against a wall, knocking off his helmet and revealing his identity. Finally aware it was Sokka, she happily embraced him, shedding tears of joy and remarking that she knew he would come. The two shared a kiss but were soon interrupted by Zuko.[1] Though Sokka, Suki, and Zuko had initially planned to escape by floating in a cooler through the boiling lake, when Sokka decided to stay at the prison to await the possible arrival of his father, Suki opted to stay with him.[7]

Suki then traveled with Sokka and the others to the Western Air Temple, where Azula soon appeared and attacked Zuko. Team Avatar split from Hakoda and Chit Sang in order to escape on Appa. Before leaving, however, Sokka grabbed Suki's hand to escape with them; Suki stuck by Team Avatar through the arrival of Sozin's Comet. Following their escape, Suki and Sokka once seemed to have planned to have a romantic night together only to have it interrupted by Zuko.[8]

Team Avatar later attended a play on Ember Island, during which Yue's death was depicted. When Suki teased Sokka about kissing the Moon Spirit, Sokka tearfully shushed her so he could keep watching the scene, much to Suki's envy.[9]

During a beach party, Sokka created a crude sand sculpture of Suki, which she called sweet in spite of his lack of artistic talent. Sokka responded by kissing her on the cheek.[10] During the arrival of Sozin's Comet, Sokka, Suki, and Toph worked together to destroy the Fire Nation airship fleet. After crashing the ship they were on into the other ships, Sokka told everyone to get to the top of it before sharing a brief kiss with Suki. Soon after, Suki was separated from Sokka and Toph when she became trapped on the falling vessel. Landing safely on another airship, she urged the others to continue their mission despite Sokka's distress.[11] She later returned, using a hijacked airship to successfully save the two from falling to their deaths.[12]

Following their successful sabotage of the airship fleet, Sokka and Suki both attended Zuko's coronation as Fire Lord. On seeing Suki and the other Kyoshi Warriors, Sokka admitted that he missed Suki's face paint. Sokka and Suki later joined up with the rest of Team Avatar at Iroh's tea shop, where Sokka created a painting of Team Avatar.[12]

Suki trains the Fire Nation villagers

Sokka trains under Suki alongside the Fire Nation villagers.

A year later, Suki arrived at the Beifong Metalbending Academy to meet Toph and Sokka, sharing a passionate kiss with the latter. Afterward, she explained how she was one of Zuko's guards and overheard a complaint from Kunyo about a "dirt girl" and a "snow savage", thus traveling to them to check it out.[13]

Suki and Sokka later visited Seashell San's House of Shells, where she was surprised to learn of his long-standing enthusiasm for collecting shells, and she affectionately called him a "goof" for believing he was receiving a discount. When Jojan tried to remove Suki from the store, Sokka warned them to let her go for their own good, knowing she would easily be able to free herself. They briefly kissed after Suki declined Sokka's offer of help against the firebending San. Sokka later proudly declared Suki to be a Kyoshi warrior to Giya and praised Suki's self-defense skills while encouraging Giya to learn from her. Sokka was later happy to be taught by Suki along with the rest of the women of the village.[14]

Sokka and Suki are reunited in Cranefish Town

Suki was reunited with Sokka in Cranefish Town.

Suki was able to eagerly reunite with Sokka when Aang, Katara, and Sokka came to the Fire Nation Royal Palace to help Zuko search for his mother. She also talked to Sokka to prevent him and Aang from attacking Azula, intending to give Zuko a chance to explain himself.[15]

Having spent a significant time apart, Suki was ecstatic to see Sokka again in Cranefish Town, closely embracing him.[16] The couple made the most of their time together and managed to find time to relax and play cards with each other. Sokka also eagerly praised her for her idea of training the nonbenders to chi-block. They also complimented each other on their disguises, with Suki calling him handsome in his Wang Fire outfit.[17]

Allies[]

Aang[]

"Are you doing okay?"
Suki trying to comfort Aang.[4]
Suki and Aang

Suki was worried about Aang after finding out what had happened to Appa.

Aang and Suki met when she and her warriors ambushed him, Katara, and Sokka, on their first visit to Kyoshi Island. After Aang informed them that he was the Avatar, they began treating him and his friends as honored guests.[2] They met again at Full Moon Bay, where she expressed concern for Aang and asked if he was feeling okay with the discovery that Appa was currently missing.[4] Suki later came across Appa and attempted to reunite the bison with Aang, only to be attacked by Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee.[5] Aang and Suki met once more when she escaped from the Boiling Rock.[7] Suki was apparently comfortable around Aang to the extent where she snickered with Sokka when Zuko sarcastically criticized the Avatar and grew anxious to find him when he disappeared.[10]

Suki and Aang remained good friends after the Hundred Year War, and worked together when dealing with the resistance against Fire Lord Zuko. At the time, Suki expressed sympathy and understanding for Aang's frustration over Zuko's obstinate behavior.[18][19] When Aang wrote a book for his son Tenzin around 124 AG, he wrote admiringly of Suki's skills as leader, warrior, and team player.[20]

Appa[]

"It's our responsibility to get Appa back to him safely."
Suki to the Kyoshi Warriors.[5]
Suki and Appa

Suki found Appa in a disheveled state.

Suki first met Appa when he, Aang, Sokka, and Katara visited Kyoshi Island.[2] She expressed concern upon finding out that he was missing[4] and later discovered him in a cavern, where he was lost, afraid, and wounded. Although Appa was initially skittish toward Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors due to having been kidnapped earlier[21] and abused, Suki gained Appa's trust by offering him apples. She, with the help of her warriors, cleansed Appa until he was rid of the scrap and dirt that covered his fur from when he was lost. During this time, Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee ambushed the Kyoshi Warriors. Suki defended and saved Appa, despite her and her warriors being outmatched. She persistently fought, allowing Appa to escape in hopes that he would find Aang.[5]

Iroh[]

"Anything we can do to make you feel more at home, Iroh?"
Suki to Iroh.[15]
Suki expresses concern for Iroh

Suki expressed concern for Iroh after his appointment as interim Fire Lord.

Suki first encountered Iroh at the White Lotus camp. They were able to develop a friendly relationship despite their brief interactions, as Suki later came to the Jasmine Dragon along with the rest of Team Avatar.[22][12]

A year later, when Iroh became interim Fire Lord during Zuko's absence, Suki earnestly asked whether anything could be done to make Iroh feel more at home at what he called "a dreary place". She felt comfortable addressing him by his first name rather than as Interim Fire Lord.[15] Later, she and Iroh worked out a plan to safeguard Ursa and her family during her return to the Fire Nation Capital. In order to mislead the rebel New Ozai Society, she accepted Iroh's offer to act as decoy of Zuko, though remained somewhat sceptical of the ex-General's ability to play the role.[23]

Katara[]

"You look so different without your makeup!"
Katara to Suki.[4]
Suki and Katara

Suki and Katara were shocked at the thought of having found Aang on Ember Island.

Katara and Suki first met when Suki and the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors ambushed her, Aang, and Sokka. When she discovered that Aang was the Avatar, her village treated Katara and her friends like royalty.[2] They met again at Full Moon Bay and, with the rest of the group, escorted a band of refugees across the Serpent's Pass and helped deliver a baby.[4] When Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee infiltrated Ba Sing Se disguised as Kyoshi Warriors, Katara, thinking Azula was Suki, revealed to her that Zuko and Iroh were in Ba Sing Se. She soon realized the warrior to be the Fire Nation princess, only to be paralyzed by Ty Lee, rendering her helpless.[24] She and Suki worked together to try to find Aang when he disappeared; however, their search came up unsuccessful.[10] Both girls shared a strong friendship and effectively cooperated with one another.

Kyoshi Warriors[]

"A bunch of girls, huh!"
―Suki defending her warriors from Sokka's sexist comment.[2]
Suki and two Kyoshi Warriors

Suki was the leader of the Kyoshi Warriors.

The Kyoshi Warriors of her home village respected Suki as their leader and shared a strong friendship. They were loyal to her and heeded her every command.[2][5][12][23] Suki did not agree with the warriors all the time, and some of her decisions were more controversial, such as when she and Jie disagreed on leaving the island. However, she expressed her profound leadership skills by allowing the Kyoshi Warriors to make the choice to stay on the island to defend their home, or to come with her to aid others suffering in the Earth Kingdom.[25]

Mai[]

Ending at Ba Sing Se

Suki and Mai, along with other members of Team Avatar, were not pleased with Sokka's drawing of them.

When they first met, Suki and Mai were enemies. Suki was forced to fight Azula while Mai assisted Ty Lee in disabling the other warriors, eventually leaving Suki as the only warrior to face Azula even as she was hopelessly outmatched. Upon the Warriors' defeat, Mai also stole their uniforms along with Azula and Ty Lee for use in toppling the Earth King. Suki and Mai did not meet face-to-face during the former's eventual escape from the Boiling Rock with the help of Team Avatar, as Zuko had locked Mai in a cell to defend his new allies. Despite this, Mai eventually intervened to save Zuko from the guards cutting the cables keeping the gondola suspended in mid-air, saving Suki in the process as well at the expense of her own freedom.[7] It was not until after the War finally ended that Mai was released along with Ty Lee, and the two of them finally made peace with Team Avatar. It would seem that Suki and Mai eventually formed a mutual bond as they played Pai Sho together at the Jasmine Dragon.[12]

A year after the War's end, when Zuko was the victim of several failed assassination attempts on his life, Mai personally requested the aid of Suki and her team of warriors, of whom Ty Lee was now a part as well, to help protect Zuko at the Royal Palace, considering them to be far more competent than the Royal Guardsmen. It can be assumed from this fact that the two had grown to trust each other with the passage of time.[26] During this assignment, Suki learned of Zuko's continued visits to his father in prison, a fact he had hidden from Mai. Suki informed Mai of her discovery, but this backfired when Mai, feeling betrayed by Zuko constantly keeping secrets from her, broke off their relationship once more. Immediately after this, Suki apologized to Zuko, regretting the outcome of her actions.[27]

However, as a result of her truthfulness, Mai continued to trust Suki. After she, her mother Michi, and brother Tom-Tom moved into another home, she informed the Kyoshi Warrior of her new address. Suki and Mai also kept working together in countering the New Ozai Society's attempt to overthrow Zuko[23] and Azula's conspiracies.[19]

Mingxia[]

Suki and Mingxia were childhood best friends and considered each other to be close as sisters. They often teased each other in a friendly manner, such as Mingxia pointing out how Suki talked about her desire to be a Kyoshi Warrior every day. Suki showed her loyalty to Mingxia and the rest of her friends when she denied knowing about the pan of steamed buns when Oyaji asked them, which led to all of them being made to scrub the communal kitchen.

As they grew older, the friends started to see things differently. While Suki agreed with the isolationism espoused by the island leaders and sought to find ways around the possibility of opening the borders, Mingxia wanted the island to open up to the rest of the world. Suki told Mingxia that she could not support her request to the island leaders about opening the borders, which led to her friend leaving the island. Suki grew tearful as Mingxia departed the island, still promising to be friends with her forever when Mingxia wanted to see the rest of the world, and meet other people.

Mingxia reassures Suki

Mingxia reassured Suki that they remained sisters and would always find each other.

After Aang arrived on the island, Suki reached the conclusion that Mingxia had been right all along when she realized that the Kyoshi Warriors should be helping others in the world. Some time later, the two friends reunited at Full Moon Bay, when Mingxia was trying to make her way to Ba Sing Se. She explained that the Kyoshi Warriors had left the island, and apologized for not agreeing with Mingxia before. Just before her ferry was due to depart, Suki embraced Mingxia and reaffirmed their sisterhood.[25]

Toph Beifong[]

"Oh, Sokka, you saved me!"
"Actually, it's me."
"Oh ... well ... You can go ahead and let me drown now.
"
Suki rescuing Toph.[4]
Suki saves Toph

Suki rescued Toph from drowning in between the East and West Lakes.

Suki and Toph first met when the group was traveling on foot to Ba Sing Se. When Toph fell into the water after the serpent destroyed the ice bridge she was walking along, Suki saved her. Toph, thinking Suki was Sokka after calling for him, gave her a kiss on the cheek. Embarrassed upon finding out it was Suki, she asked the warrior to "let [her] drown".[4] Toph, Suki, and Sokka set out together on a mission to stop the Fire Nation airship fleet from burning down the Earth Kingdom.[11][22] When Sokka and Toph were surrounded on an airship by Fire Nation soldiers with comet-enhanced firebending surrounding them, Suki saved them, piloting a hijacked airship.

Ty Lee[]

"She's one of us now."
Suki explaining the union of Ty Lee to the Kyoshi Warriors.[12]
Suki and Ty Lee battle

Suki and Ty Lee fought each other during the escape from the Boiling Rock.

When Suki and Ty Lee first met, they were natural enemies. Even though Suki was unable to acknowledge Ty Lee because she was preoccupied with fighting Azula, it is likely she glimpsed what Ty Lee had done to her fellow warriors.[5] They met once more during her escape from the Boiling Rock, where they battled on the gondola, and Suki was all too happy for the chance to even the score with her and Azula. During their battle, it seemed they were evenly matched.[1] When Ty Lee betrayed Azula in order to save Mai, she was imprisoned with the other Kyoshi Warriors. They bonded over time, and after a few chi-blocking lessons, they let Ty Lee join their group. Suki seemed happy with her inclusion in the group.[12]

The two girls continued to grow close in the years that followed, and when Mai recruited the Kyoshi Warriors to help protect Zuko during rising tensions in the Fire Nation colonies, Suki and Ty Lee worked hand in hand to ensure his safety.[26] When Ty Lee decided to return to the Kyoshi Warriors, having previously decided to leave, Suki was happy to see her and eagerly welcomed her back to the group.[28]

Zuko[]

"The Kyoshi Warriors are really worried about you, Zuko. I'm really worried about you."
Suki to Zuko.[27]
Suki and Zuko

Suki and Zuko watched as Azula and Ty Lee approached them during the escape from the Boiling Rock.

Zuko and Suki unofficially met when Zuko attacked Kyoshi Island in an attempt to capture Aang. Suki and her team of warriors fought to stop Zuko's rampage as his firebending threatened to destroy their village. They were hopelessly outmatched, however, and eventually defeated by Zuko, although they did buy Aang and his friends the time they needed to escape.[2]

Suki and Zuko formally met at the Boiling Rock. By this point, Suki had been imprisoned in the Boiling Rock by Azula,[5][6] and Zuko had reformed and joined Team Avatar.[29] While serving hard time, Suki did not hesitate to remind Zuko about his attack on her village many months before. Zuko recalled this event and apologized for his wrongdoings.[1] Despite the obvious animosity between the two, Suki cooperated with Zuko and Sokka in escaping the prison and freeing Sokka's father, Hakoda.[7]

After their successful escape and a brief humorous evening interaction outside Sokka's tent,[8] Suki and Zuko were on much better terms, as she spent time with Zuko and the gang at Iroh's tea shop in Ba Sing Se.[12] One year after the Hundred Year War, Suki and the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors were hired by Mai in place of Zuko's previous bodyguards after they failed to prevent an attempt on the Fire Lord's life. When Zuko awoke from his sleep in fear of another assassination attempt, Suki seemed genuinely concerned and reassured Zuko that he was not in danger. That same night, when Zuko went to secretly meet with the disposed Fire Lord Ozai under the guise of going for a walk, Suki, worried for Zuko, asked if he needed an escort, to which he declined.[26]

Suki worried about Zuko

Even as a guard, Suki personally cared for Zuko.

Later, Suki unintentionally provoked Mai into breaking up with Zuko after telling her about Zuko's late-night meetings with Ozai. Suki was very sorry for what had happened and apologized to Zuko, telling him, as she reached out for his hand, that she was very worried about him, though she was also alarmed to learn that he had sent spies to the Earth Kingdom.[27]

After Zuko departed for Yu Dao to defend the colonists from an incoming attack by Earth King Kuei and his army, Suki followed suit and returned to the Earth Kingdom in a war balloon to enlist Sokka and Toph's aid in stopping the battle. During the trio's efforts to slow down the incoming Fire Nation armored forces, Suki still expressed sympathy for Zuko in spite of his actions, suggesting that they should really try to talk things out with him instead. She also sadly remarked on how lonely Zuko seemed to be, showing that she still cared for him as a friend in spite of all that was happening.[13] Suki's relationship with Zuko continued to develop as the Kyoshi Warriors continued to serve as the Fire Lord's bodyguards. She expressed her own happiness to see him in a better mood after returning from Yu Dao and continued to be protective of him around his father and Azula. Suki stopped Aang and Sokka from attacking Azula and urged them to listen to Zuko, trusting his intention, and so helped to explain his actions to her friends. While Zuko searched for his mother, Suki personally intervened to help Zuko against Azula.[15]

Suki also served Zuko closely during the insurrection of the New Ozai Society, where she personally escorted and protected him against the militants' ambush. As he stood on the balcony following Tom-Tom's kidnapping, she noticed how tense he was and offered to keep him company. He told her about his worry for Tom-Tom and expressed his feelings regarding the child's future. Suki was honored to serve Zuko and supported him as he reformed the Fire Nation.[23]

Enemies[]

Azula[]

"What do you want with us?"
"Who are you? The Avatar's
fan girls?"
Suki and Azula.[5]
Azula vs Suki

Suki and Azula fought each other as the former tried to protect Appa.

Suki and Azula first met when Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee tracked down Appa by following his fur trail. Even though Azula did not find Aang present as intended, she proceeded to attack Suki anyway. Suki drove Appa away successfully; however, she and her warriors were soon defeated by the trio.[5] Azula's team stole some of the warriors' uniforms and used them to successfully conquer Ba Sing Se by disguising themselves as Kyoshi Warriors.[30]

Later, Suki was brought back to a Fire Nation encampment, where Azula discovered Suki's status as leader of the Kyoshi Warriors, as well as her relationship with Sokka. The princess decided that Suki would be separated from the rest of the warriors and sent to the Fire Nation's highest security prison, the Boiling Rock. Shortly before her departure, she was taunted by the Fire Nation princess, who entertained the notion of having Sokka come save her so that she could capture him as well. Azula reminded Suki that she wanted her to know just how hard Fire Nation prison would be, and reminded her that she had been reduced from the leader of a respected group of warriors to a mere prisoner. Suki stood her ground without giving Azula any response, leading the princess to claim that she was doing everything for her "favorite prisoner" and that she would destroy the Avatar and his friends while Suki stayed in prison.[25] Azula would later successfully tamper with Sokka's emotions by telling him that her favorite prisoner, Suki, used to mention him all the time before she gave up on him.[6] Azula and Suki met again at the Boiling Rock. Instead of fighting Azula, however, Suki directed her attention toward Ty Lee.[7] The two again encountered each other when the Fire Nation princess assaulted the Western Air Temple; however, Azula was too preoccupied with trying to kill Zuko to acknowledge Suki.[8]

Suki later assisted Zuko in guarding Azula while she spoke with Ozai and while Azula was transported around the Fire National Capital. Suki viewed Azula as dangerous despite her straightjacket and attempted to escort Zuko while he wheeled Azula around. She also rebuked the Fire Princess for her derogatory attitude toward Appa, although she was able to restrain herself around her former enemy and remain respectful.

Biyu[]

"Don't you have any loyalty to the people you're living alongside in this awful place?"
Suki to Biyu.[25]

Suki reached out to Biyu as an ally after hearing her loudly complain about the food at the Boiling Rock. After introducing themselves to one another, Suki showed Biyu the dumpling weed plants around the prison. Biyu wanted to simply split all the plants so they could have more food rations, but Suki was interested in a long-term plan, and made her agree to planting a garden of dumpling weed plants near the laundry room so that they could have a long-term food supply, and build a community with the other prisoners.

Biyu was surprised that the other prisoners were willing to put themselves at risk to defend them, and told Suki that she thought that her own individual advantage would outweigh their community. Instead, Suki told her that the community could work together to ensure everyone would escape.

Biyu taunts Suki

When Suki confronted her after the betrayal, Biyu responded with mockery.

Biyu betrayed Suki by telling the warden about the garden's location after she got scared about her own safety when the prisoners and guards started to confront one another. Two weeks later, Suki knocked Biyu to the floor after she was released into the general population, calling her out for her treachery. Biyu did not deny what she had done, instead stating that while Suki's plan seemed smart at first, she was not willing to put herself at risk, and only cared about her own comfort. Suki threatened to throw Biyu off the ledge, but she panicked and apologized, and Suki walked away, with the other prisoner calling her a coward.[25]

Ozai[]

"Yeah, or how about 'King of the guys who ... don't win?'"
Suki trying to mock Ozai.[12]

Suki briefly met Ozai along with Sokka and Toph directly after Aang defeated him. At first, Suki thought he was dead, but Ozai sadistically told her he was still alive, startling her. He was unable to follow through on his threat, however, as his bending abilities had been terminated through the use of energybending, leaving him powerless. Suki attempted to mock Ozai along with Sokka and Toph, only to have Toph tell her, "Leave the nicknames to us, honey."[12]

Suki, alongside Ty Lee, helped supervise Ozai while Azula and Zuko met with him, although she kept her distance away from him and was leery of him, even without his firebending abilities.[15]

The warden[]

"Sorry warden. You're my prisoner now."
Suki to the warden.[7]
Suki captures the Boiling Rock warden

Suki secured the warden during the riot at the Boiling Rock.

Suki was imprisoned in Boiling Rock upon her defeat at the hands of Azula.[5] Suki was brought to the warden's office after Biyu betrayed her plan and told him the location of the garden. The warden berated Suki for thinking she could build an escape plan by cultivating vegetables for contraband food and punished her by sentencing her to solitary confinement for two weeks.[25]

When Sokka announced his plan to escape, Suki agreed to help. During the riot, Suki hopped up on the heads of the rioters, jumped, and flipped onto the tower. She reached the warden, tied his hands together, and used his headband as a gag, allowing the escapees to secure him as a prisoner.[7]
