The universe(s) have been ravaged by endless war. The fragile lining between them grows thin, and a cataclysmic tragedy looms on the horizon. Unless, it can be amended.

The story begins in Maryland, and follows Chet, an intellectually gifted young man plagued by a troubled past. Struggles to keep a job and a steady income force him to reinvent himself, and confront his worst failure. What he discovers takes him to places where others could only dream of going. The "world" of Avatar is in for a big surprise. He is a dimension jumper.

But he is not the only one. Lives are beginning to overlap. Chet must take what he knows to help the Avatar save the world(s).
