— Technology Wizard
"As I was reading, I couldn't think of what it was, but there was something smart about this fanon. Now, I believe what I was thinking of is Acer's ability to create a story, in general. I knows how to include the basic elements that make a tale a legend. There's an interesting plot, some good twists, and even some poetic titles, etc."
— Omashu Rocks, author of Avatar Brek and member of FRS, as part of his review.
"I like the concept of the Freedom Fighters, especially with a group of orphans hell-bent on ending the war. I like some the of the character references you also put in."
"There're almost no fanons out there that would focus on the Freedom Fighters' origins (I also say this as a fanfiction.net junkie), and this writer has done a wonderful job. There are many deep and powerful meanings that every reader has to experience...so go on now, read it!"
— Minnichi, a successful author of Silent Hero in Emerald and editor of this fanon. Also member of FRS, as part of her review.

"It's a pretty good story for anyone who likes the Freedom Fighters we all know and love, anyone who likes back-stories, and pretty much anyone looking for a good story of adventure and camaraderie.... I really like your fanon. I always try and give some constructive critism, and sometimes I feel like the fact that I really like a fanon gets lost in that."
