Sonam's History

Living in a world brought to peace and stability by the Avatars predecessor's tenacious efforts, Sonam's life was cool and easy, he took the Test of Relics when he asked at age 10. From then forward he knew he was special, living a carefree life. He had the need and want to learn the sub-abilities, during a trip to the Eastern Air Temple, Sonam met the young Avatar Kuruk, carefree Avatar that had no need in the world affairs. The two became quick friends after a challenge by Kuruk. Although Sonam's life was short he is considered the most carefree Spirit Leader thanks to Kuruk.

Sonam's Journey to the Northern Water Tribe

Sonam was invited by Kuruk to attend the New Moon Festival and join in the celebration, there Kuruk met his true love Ummi, a young woman of true beauty. During the festival, Kuruk courted his wife to be and Sonam was there to watch.

Sonam's Duty to the World

Avatar Kuruk married Ummi, but she was stolen by Koh, the Face Stealer. Kuruk searched for his wife until his death and continued on even in death. Sonam was left with world affairs when Kuruk died young.

Sonam's Death

Spirit Leader Sonam died during a storm while on a peace trip to the Fire Nation, he fell overboard and his body was found afloat in a canal a burial was held and Sonam life was cut short he died.
