| Zuko, something happened to Samsara in the last hundred years.
This fanon has been discontinued, but is still available to read for your enjoyment.
"The greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation."
The greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation. Things you think are separate and different, are actually one and the same. We are all but one people, but we live as if divided. - Guru Pathik in The Guru.
Though under Guru Pathik's training Avatar Aang was not able to achieve enlightenment and properly detach himself from his earthly confines, he did manage to momentarily open his seventh thought chakra and become aware of the infinite nature of the Multiverse. In this brief moment, Aang was made aware of billions of other universes with Avatars. Though he (and the show) quickly forgot that fact, I am here to bring you the story of one of these alternate universes. Although related to the world of Avatar, the world of Samsara is a distinct, different and new take on arguably one of the best animated series' in recent history.
The first installment of this written fanon series is Samsara: The Journey to the South. It chronicles the adventures of a young firebender named Horkou and his waterbending sister Kusuwey as they search for an Avatar to help resolve a growing spiritual crisis on their home island.
Continual updates on the universe and background of Samsara, meant to provide context and history to the world as you read will be updated continually here. The first section is still a work in progress, but I'll get there!
- Kamasdaru Horkou, a brooding 18 year old firebender from the Kamasdaru Abe tribe; the twin brother of Kusuwey.
- Kamasdaru Kusuwey, an energetic and headstrong 18 year old waterbender from the Kamasdaru Abe tribe; the twin sister of Horkou.
- Kamasdaru Kuruppe, a boisterous 23 year old from the Kamasdaru Abe tribe; the older brother of both Horkou and Kusuwey.
