Saiya Lee, or just Saiya, is a young Earthbending gypsy who travels around the Earth Kingdom with the rest of the gypsies as healers and entertainers.
Although the gypsies are mainly situated in the Earth Kingdom, their troupe consists of benders and non-benders from each of the four nations.
History[]
Saiya was born to two nomadic gypsies in the Earth Kingdom. She was discovered to be an Earthbender and like all the other benders in her troupe, she studied under one of the more advanced Earthbenders whom she was traveling with, in her case it being her father, a talented Earthbender named Seade. She learned most of her skills in healing from her mother, a Waterbender named Keela. Although not a Waterbending healer, Saiya is very skillful in healing the human body.
As traveling gypsies, Saiya did not grow up in any one place. According to her father, she has been in almost the entire southern Earth Kingdom.
Personality[]
Saiya is a sweet and kind girl but strong willed and arrogant at the same time. She is constantly trying to gain her mothers approval and fears her mother will not love her if she fails. Her friends see her as impatient, stubborn and hot-headed but also as someone who you can always rely on.
Abilities[]
Earthbending[]
Saiya initially struggled with Earthbending. She thought this was because of her being half Water Tribe. In actual fact, her thinking that was what hampered her abilities, but soon she realized that she could incorporate her Water Tribe heritage into her Earthbending. She studied both under her mother and father to develop a unique style of Earthbending, one which is much more fluid than the usual. Traveling all over the Earth Kingdom has presented her with many different situation which forced her to adapt which furthered this technique.
Healing[]
Saiya is a skilled healer, memorizing many herbs and remedies and studying the human body.
Crafting[]
One of Saiya's skills were developed out of her hobby of whittling. She is skilled in crafting trinkets and ornaments which she sells as good luck charms around the Earth Kingdom.
