‘’The light green seed began to grow, but a thunderstorm suddenly came. All blithe memory was erased, and only bleeding wounds were left behind. Loneliness. Misery. Terror...Even so, what would happen if the seed still carved a new hope?’’

Senlin Village Edit
Beyond the horizon, a thin ripple of a deep scarlet was meshed onto indigo, spreading like a jet. The scarlet moved up through the sky, soaking the darkness of the night away, while at the bottom of the fiery cascade was a barely perceptible orange border. A single bird cry flashed like a leaf in the wind over the houses, and bright fireflies fled, echoing and rebounding. More cries joined the first, a chorus of sobs heralding the arrival of the fire victims who brought pain, misery, and nothingness.
“Mom, here we are. I hope we are safe here,” Jim cornered his mother, folding his hands off. "Mom, if you accept, I will work with you.”
“Oh, my Sweetheart. Our papa left us. But I have faith that he trusted us," Mei Li promised. “We will get a better life. I believe that God had a great responsibility for us, as he agreed to call our father first.”
The morning sun shone brightly, warming the village. In the middle of the village, an old man queitly swept the leaves, which had been burned all day long by the sun. "Oh, sir. Where is the provided house for us?" Mei Li asked him. The elderly man pointed at a big house, then continued his duty of sweeping the leaves.
"It should be Lostri,” Mei Li directly made her ways to the house, remembering his husband's step-sister. "Excuse me. Lostri? Excuse me!" The woman knocked on the door. A minute later, an old, dim, and cavalier woman stood before the entrance. Behind her were her three children: Perry, Sue, and Ulrich. "Lady Lostri?" Mei Li repeated.
"Yes, poor woman? First of all, I don't have any money to share with you! Good day!" Lostri directly closed the door.
"But - Lady, this is me, Mei Li!" Mei Li shouted, while hugging her sons closely.
"Mei?" the old woman exclaimed suddenly. "Ping, open the door! They are your step-cousins!"
In no time, the refugees fell asleep in a little hut that been prepared for them, beneath the hot sun. The breeze swept the leaves that had been burned last night.

Gaipan Edit
On a small raft, a young man, about twenty years old, made his way to the Gaipan near the river. It was a sweaty and sunny day that he was supposed to enjoy. However, he was quickly startled to see the shattered village. He saw a few Fire Nation guards simply cleaning up all the debris, without any signs of remorse. “Who'd dare burn this village?” he stammered, glued. Affected.
Across the river, a ripple of residual burned woods floated and filled the water. The smoke blew his mind, confronted him alone. "Oh my Goodness. Why? I should know.” The blue sky covered the mysterious cosmic universe, cloaking the unanswered questions. The young man found himself standing in front of the unanswerable moment. The Fire Nation guards, sparing neither the men nor women, burned them down all at once.
"How dare they do this?" The horrified young man tried to compose himself, but he could not. His tears started to fall down, splashing onto the grass, flying towards the river. "Where is my..,” his statement was stopped by the warm air, which heated up his face at once. "Papa!"

Senlin Village Edit
The Jhuang family found themselves in their new home, the house of the Lostri family. Jerry sat next to his elder brother, who had sought warmth outside their chilly new home during this day. "Jim, I'm afraid...,” he said, shivering slightly.
"I know, I know, Jer," Jim responded, eyeing their new family suspiciously. "I think we should go to the river. Let's check papa's burial ground.”
As he said this, Mei Li entered the room. “Jim, please give more respect to our family. They're your cousins!” she scolded, her tone urgent. “For your father. We need to talk.”
The Fire Nation slept on their new land? Earth Kingdom! Making a colony? I don't think so. Papa has plenty more loves than you, Lostri! Thousands more than you!
Remember, son. One day you'll know. Forgiveness is more powerful than torture.

"Jim, give more respect to your new aunt! Lostri, these are my sons, Jim and Jerry,” Mei Li introduced her children before bowing to the householder.
"What are they? Perry, Sue, Ulrich, give them our response!" Lostri ordered, pointing at the dirt, poor, stricken boys. "Give them our tutelage!"
The three children, Perry, Sue, and Ulrich, deftly ran to their garbage, pulled out "spoiled" porridge and suddenly threw it at them. "Hahahahaha! Enjoy your food! Remember, our house has few policies that you should know. First, don't call us by our names. Call us sahib!" Perry commanded. "Two, pick your foods there!" He pointed at the garbage bin, which had polluted with their own dirt.
The horizon started to glow with its own light, dimmed in the quiet night. The stars illuminated the dark night, spreading over like a jet, fulfilling the skies with their light. Windy air confessed to the houses, bringing a mournful peace with it. The water flew almost as if dashing, spinning through the rotten woods.

Guang Jhou Tomb Edit
The young man made his way into the cave, where the dark clouded his way. Toward the cave, a firefly illuminated his way on the street, fluttering like a dove. Within the cave, he sighed. Earth Kingdom outfits were spread all over, the blood splattered on the wall, while a scream broke the quiet within. It resembled a persecution by the conqueror. "What's again?"
The Guang Jhou Tomb, which was the Gaipan's only hope, was revealed. The Fire Nation burned the earthbenders all at once, in the end of the tomb. On the outside, the women and children were abused, killed, and thrown as the bears' dinner. Those innocent people all died in the same night alongside their entire families. "My sons..,” A voice cut filled the forest. "Somebody..,”
"Who's there?" called the young man.
The representative of those victims, an old Earth Kingdom civilian, sat near a tree, just waiting for being murdered by the bears. "May I help you?"
"Uiop? Uiop?" He stammered. The dark night shaded the burned people, while the blood soaked the skies. Those firebenders continued to fill the night with that blood. "My son...”
"What happened?" the young man asked, bringing the old man into a rustic house. "Who is this? Old man Yashi?"
"I'm Ertiga.... Where's Uiop? Did you kill my son?"
"No, sir. I'm didn't kill your son. He was killed - Sir, may I give you first aid?" The young man thought twice and calmed the old man down, pulling some medicine from his pockets.
"Okay.”
All civilian was murdered...abused...by those unbelievable firebenders.
How dare they...how dare they did this to my people?
Earth Kingdom people...

"I doubt you're old, Sir. You are so strong to have survived those deadly firebenders,”
"No...My son, Uiop hid me behind a tree, brought three loaves of bread, and left me. He told me that there were some chosen people who would save us all. I can't re...,”
"Remember? Wait - don't... don't leave me, Ertiga! I can't stand anymore grief! Help me!"
Grief.
A broken heart.
The poison begins to carve itself into his heart.
"How dare they?!" The young man began to sob, embracing the old man and bravely relieving his painful memory by burying his short-lived companion outside the house. "I promise, Sir...I promise will found the chosen people,”

"Jerry, wait here. I'll get you an apple," Jim promised. The young boy immediately ran off, the wind caressing his hair, blowing his mind. Beneath the rotten house, he picked the most appealing apple for his beloved brother.
Suddenly...
"Lostri! Jim is trying to steal our food! He's violated our policy!" Ulrich yelled at his mother, pointing at the starving boy.
Lostri, with her son's encouragement, addressed the young boy. "Hey, Jim!" she shouted. "From now on, I will start to call you it. So you will know what to do,”
