Plot[]

The Lion Turtles have abandoned humanity and the world has been thrown into disorder and chaos. As a result, a community of airbenders has fallen on hard times - and their peaceful, passive mentality isn't helping matters. On numerous occasions, their food, clothing, and other supplies have been stolen from. Skirmishes between different bending communities continually force them from wherever they settle and starvation seems to hide behind every tree. It appears that their one hope is to find a peaceful haven before the chaos claims their lives. However, some of the younger airbenders, not yet set in the ways of the monks, have decided to take matters into their own hands. Led by Messio, they begin to train both defensively and offensively in order to bring security to their people on their journey... much to the disapproval of their elders.

The World of Avatar

Pretext[]

Avatar Wan of the Fire Lion Turtle has died, but not before banishing spirits from the realm of man. As he took his final breaths on a field of battle, Wan apologized to the world over his failure to bring peace - however, he was reassured by the Avatar Spirit that his work would be continued by his reincarnation.

With the spirits gone, the ancient Lion Turtles renounced their roles as protectors of mankind and ceased all further communication. Human societies were thrust out into the wild and, for the first time, began to interact. Distrust and fear were immediate. Without leadership, humanity quickly dissolved into a state of anarchy and war.

Now, unbeknownst to the world, the Avatar Cycle continues on to the next element: Air.
