First appearance

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Qin is a character referenced in Avatar: Energy Saga. He is also canon. He was the War Minister of the Fire Nation during the Hundred Year War and afterwards under Fire Lords Azulon, Ozai and Zuko.

Qin served as War Minister during the final stages of the Hundred Year War, after Avatar Aang had revealed himself to the world once more. He thought up several failed plans, such as penetrating the walls of Ba Sing Se with a giant drill. Following the war, he continued to serve as War Minister under Fire Lord Zuko until he retired and was succeeded by Chan. He was one of many guests to attend the wedding of Aang and Katara at the South Pole. There, he briefly talked with Avatar Aang and retired general Iroh.
