Author's Notes

• This story's events after The War are completely different from The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra's events so I wrote the story without the existence of Republic City and Avatar Korra.
• The whole story is planned to contain two "Books" which contain the story's chapters. Books are named after quotations by characters. The books have different plots and time difference of 17/18 years in between, making this difference one of the only two suspended animation periods in the whole story.

Reception

Although not a wide-read and admired fanon, Next Generations still enjoys some readers. This fair popularity is still something, for example, BlackMonkey isn't one of the subscribers, but he does like the story. He asked the author if he can guest edit sometime, and he eventually wrote a part of Book 1 Chapter 17, being a guest writer.

If we continue talking about BlackMonkey, he reviewed Next Generations as the first ever fanon to get reviewed by The Fanon Review Squad. Of his sayings, reviewing the first six chapters of Book 1, were these :

"I read Next Generations, and was impressed. I will admit, there are much better stories out there, but this was a lot nicer than I was expecting."

"I was never a big fan of 'After The War' fanons, but Next Generations is different from most, and actually a fairly enjoyable read."

"For a beginning author, Next Generations is great."

Currently, there are only two subscribers of Next Generations, these being Zuko42899 and Omar067. Various users have praised Next Generations various times :

While on the other hand, some users did not like Next Generations. Of those was Natsu11, he read through the first few chapters, but the story did not catch up with him. Another user is The Bos, although reading only two chapters by request, he gave his full honest opinion and constructive criticism. He liked the author's writing style in B1#16, he said the idea was not so good. He said on B1#1 :

Sorry, this seems a little too chiche to me... Everything happens too quickly - try writing a scene where Zuko and TA actually go the the Boiling Rock or where Ursa actually finds out their names. This needs canonical checks as well as believability checks.

For those who read the story and didn't like it, I promise, book 2 is something far different than book 1.
