Miyu isn't completely human, she is a remnant of the ancient days, when bending was not discovered. She is rumored to predate the four main bending arts, the formation of the four nations, as well as the creation of the Avatar. Her past is not well known, after many year she met a royal young man from the Earth Kingdom and married him, becoming royal herself, and ruled by his side. However one day, she was betrayed and killed by her loved ones. With the help of Avatar Tsuki, she was retrieved from the Spirit World and was reincarnated.
Powers[]
Miyu is an energybender, an ability to bend another person's life energy. A bending style that existed before the other elemental styles. The capabilities of energybending are not well understood; what is known is that bending a person's life energy can impart them with knowledge instantly, remove their bending completely, or restore it. This bending art can be perilous to the user, which is why so few have ever used it. She has been shown to be able to bend all elements and others unknown powers.

Being inhuman, she possess inhuman strength, speed, and endurance. Her strength and power varies according to her mood.
Abilities[]
Miyu has been seen draining the life force out of others, primarily by drinking their blood in manner that dubbed her the name Vampire Princess. She is seemingly immortal and existed before the time of bending.

Miyu occasionally uses swords to aid her in combat.
