Just a Dream
In the Guo House with Rokai and his father:
Rokai's father tries to find where Rokai is in the house.
"Rokai?!" He yells out.
Rokai comes out from his room.
"Yes dad?" He asks.
"I was wondering where you were. I heard banging in your room, but didn't see you come in the house," he explains.
"I have been home father," he says.
"You have? I didn't know. I'm just so used to you being out so much," he says.
Rokai smiles.
"I understand. I'm gonna try to be home more often so I can be with you more dad," he explains.
"You know you don't have to do that for me son. I know you care about me, but as a young man, I think you should be out more," he says.
"Don't worry about me dad. I'm going to go to sleep," he says.
"Thanks son; and good night," he says.
"Good night dad," Rokai says as he go's back to his room.
Rokai falls asleep fairly quick.
(Dream)
"Hey Jade! I'll race you to the other side of the hill!" Rokai says.
Jade laughs. "Sure! I can't wait to see your face when I beat you!" She says jokingly.
"We will see about that!" Rokai exclaims. "One, Two, Three, Go!"
Both of them Run as fast as they can to the other side. When Rokai gets to the other side, he looks back to see where she is, but doesn't see her. Someone taps him on the shoulder. He turns around to see Jade looking at him with a big smile on her face.
"I beat you big bro!" She says as she breaks out into laughter.
Rokai smiles as he looks at her.
"Fine, you beat me this time. But I'll beat you next time," he says to her.
"Yeah, sure. We will see about that," she says.
They both break out laughing. Rokai hugs Jade.
"I love you little sis," he says.
Jade chuckles.
"I love you too big bro," she says as she hugs him back. (Out of dream)
Rokai wakes up with tears running down his face. His father comes into his room.
"Rokai, are you okay? I thought I heard you crying from outside," he explains.
"I'm fine dad," he says.
"Are you sure? Did you have a bad dream?" He asks.
"No dad," he replies.
"Son, tell me what's wrong. You know you can tell me," he says.
"I miss Jade dad. I had a dream about her," Rokai explains as he begins to tear up again.
"I miss her too son. I miss her too," he says as he hugs Rokai.
"Okay. Thanks dad. I'm going to get some rest. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow," he explains.
"Okay son. I love you. I'll see you in the morning." He says.
