"She has her mother's skill and my will. God help us all."
— John Rider on his daughter

Kya Rider is the two main characters in the upcoming Avatar Fanon The Invasion. She is to lead her friends in a fight against an invasion of the United Republic by the Fire Nation.

Born on Contention Ranch to John Rider in 183 AG, Kya Rider is a young waterbender who was born a troublemaker. At the age of fifteen, she ran away from home, much to the annoyance of her parents.

Kya is confirmed to be mixed up with a war that is currently going on between the Fire Nation and the United Republic, being a member of a band of guerrillas on the side of the Republic. Being as guns have been recently introduced to the Avatar World, Kya is a pioneer in the means of way wars are fought. Whether she is simply a fighter in the guerrillas or following in her father's and grandfather's footsteps as a leader is currently unknown, however it is known that she is one of the most skilled members.

It is possible that she may develop leadership skills, being as she is to be caught up in the middle of an Invasion by The Fire Nation.

Her mother is Avatar Korra. She is the second of the Rider Family to be born and raised in the Avatar World.

Much like her mother, Kya is outspoken and has very little pactience. However her personality also resembles that of her father, often making her both outspoken and very laid back.
