To be determined
Avatar Kuruk is now 28 years old. A few years ago the love of his life Ummi was taken by Koh, the "face-stealer" on their wedding day. He now battles with himself over letting this happen, and after many failed attempts at finding Koh in the Spirit World, he plans to try again and do whatever it takes.
Kuruk - The current Avatar. Born of the Northern Water Tribe. He was always a very "go with the flow" Avatar until he lost the love of his life, and now has inner turmoil and seeks revenge and redemption.
Ummi - Kuruk's wife who had her face taken by Koh on her wedding day, and is lost in the Spirit World.
Koh - The "face-stealer." A dangerous, grotesque spirit from the Spirit World that punished Avatar Kuruk by taking Ummi from him.
Yangchen - The Air Nomad Avatar preceding Kuruk. She is very smart, and was very powerful in her life.
Sokin - Kuruk's closest and most trustworthy friend. A powerful warrior of the Northern Water Tribe.
- Squid-like spirits in the Spirit World with the ability of flying. They guard a scroll and attack any who take it, even an Avatar.
- An introduction Setting the scene and situation.
- Kuruk's wedding anniversary is tomorrow, and his attempts to meditate are flawed by horrible memories. He plans to resolve this at all costs.
- Avatar Kuruk contacts a past Avatar for advice on visiting the Spirit World. He then prepares to enter.
Chapter 3: The Spirit World - When Kuruk enters the large, jungle portion of the Spirit World, he is disoriented. He finds a scroll that could possibly help, but attempting to take it causes him danger.
Chapter 4: Interruption - While Avatar Kuruk runs away from the flying spirits, he is awakened from the Spirit World by Sokin, but this causes the spirits to follow him and endanger his friend.
