Jamie is the 4th born sibling of his family, he is also the main character.

History Edit

Jamie hates Bending; he believes it is in-humane. The fact that people can manipulate the elements disgusts him. Part of this hatred comes from his family-he was brought up among 10 other siblings, who were all Earthbenders. His father has always had high expectations for Jamie, but when he fails at a task, his father punishes him brutally.

When Jamie's father is due home and Jamie has not gotten a job as his father requested, Jamie runs to the butcher's (his friend's parents work there) and asks for a job. The Butcher kindly gives him a position, and Jamie is all set. Later, he gets into an argument with his father, he finally stands up for himself for the first time in his life, but is sent up to his room. In his room, Misaki warns him about his father's anger; however, Jamie doesn't care. His father then calls him into a room with one candle, which he then blows out. Just as he is about to be hit by his father, Jamie is pushed out of the way by Misaki. The light is suddenly turned on by his mother, who is followed by the rest of the family. Jamie's father merely walks out without another word.

A new girl, called Xin goes to Jamie's school. At first she was very shy, and when The Resistance was mentioned, she'd feel uncomfortable. Jamie wanted her to talk, so he told her about himself. She then became his friend. Xin told him about herself too. Later on she showed him the letters from when she was in the prison. Jamie pointed out the notes on the back that read Wo ai ni. When she saw that she knew exactly who the sender was and where he was.

She went to a fountain in the center of the city, and looked around for Lai. He eventually came. They talked for a while, then Jamie suggested that they go to where The Resistance was. At first, they all said no. But after he persuaded them, they set off for a journey, also with Misaki.

Once they reached the place, they went to the room where Liu was. Yao was continuously talking to Xin, which irritated Jamie, so to start a fight; he stabbed Liu in the heart. She fell to the floor and died. They were thrown into prison. Jamie was put into one with a boy named Jiangyu. He was interesting. Jiangyu had an idea for escape, and they succeeded.

When they had escaped, Jiangyu asked Jamie if he wanted to run away with him. After much thought, Jamie said yes. They went to the docks and went to Ember Island on a boat. Jamie thought the place was beautiful, he loved it.

After spending a week on a luxurious house on Ember Island, they returned to the Resistance's Headquarters with new members - Ming and the Avatar. She was rather strong and very good at fighting. While with the Resistance, Aang killed Fong and his soldiers - including Jamie's father.

Once Fong had died, soldiers came for them. They could not fight them, however, as Aang had collapsed as he had been treated harshly by Ming and Jiangyu. Jamie was furious at this, he took the power away from them. They fleed from the Headquarters and lured the soldiers all the way down the mountain - they had just enough time to devise a plan and wait for Aang to wake up. When the soldiers did come, Aang took their bending away using Energybending. The soldiers - including the alive leaders, Lee and Yao - gave all power to Jamie. He renamed the group the Anti-Benders, and will control them until he dies.

Relationships Edit

Father: Edit

Jamie's relationship with his father is quite complicated. His father is very strict on Jamie, it is not known yet if he is like this to everyone. When Jamie does not do what is asked he is punished brutally. It is not known why he has such high expectations but, it can be that he feels that he can relate to Jamie because he cannot bend either.

Misaki: Edit

Jamie and Misaki's relationship is very sweet. Jamie trusts Misaki and, Misaki trusts him. Misaki is always there to help Jamie because she knows if she doesn't he may be punished. Jamie is always asking favors of Misaki and she is always doing them. He admits himself that Misaki is his favorite sibling, but it's not known if she thinks that way too.
