Iroh's Quest is the third chapter of Finding Ursa.
Today was a tough day for Zuko, but nobody else knew that except for Iroh. Today was the 10 year anniversary of Princess Ursa, Zuko's mother, being banished from the Fire Nation. Zuko was not himself today and he knew it. Uncle spoke to Zuko about it and he told him that things happen for a reason and he had to move on. However, Zuko wasn't ready to move on. He spent the whole day feeling sad because he still couldn't find his mother after all those years. However, nobody knew of this and continued partying and creating decorations. Iroh however, saw Zuko's emotions get the best of him when he nearly destroyed the beautiful garden with the pond that he and his mother used to go to.
It was now nightfall and while Zuko and Mai were talking, Iroh called the rest of Team Avatar to come have a meeting with him. He explained what was going on and what he wanted to do to help out his poor nephew. "Guys, I want you to come with me to help find Zuko's mother." Everyone was shocked. Then all of a sudden, someone opened the door. It was Mai.
"Uncle, I'm going to join you."
"Mai, are you sure you want to come?"
"Yes. I do."
"Mai, I don't think that's a good idea." Aang whispered.
"Yeah, I don't think Zuko's gonna be happy." Katara backed up Aang.
"Fine, but I'm coming with you guys to see Azula and Ozai. Fine, but be careful." Mai nodded. Sokka and Suki decided to stay home due to the fact that Yue is with them and they are not going to leave their daughter behind. Iroh told them to make it a secret and told them to make sure that Zuko doesn't know of this since there are trying to surprise them.
"Then, it's settled. " Sokka said with his leadership voice on. "Aang, Katara, Toph, Mai, and Iroh go to see Azula and Ozai and get some information, Mai you then come back and tell Zuko you went for a walk. After you guys get the information you need, you take Appa and leave."
"Okay, now guys, let's go before Zuko gets suspicious."
Eventually, Zuko finds them in the hall. "Guys, where were you? I could've used your help." Zuko demanded to know.
"Hey Zuko" Suki replied, "we just finished taking a walk, right guys?" Everyone nodded and started stretching. After that, they all went to sleep.
