Injuquaq is one of the waterbending master of Kwan Chun in Chapter 18: The Smell of War in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan.


History[]

Early Life[]

Injuquaq, was born in 972 BG to two unknown parents in Southern Water Tribe. Injuquaq, had discovered he was a waterbender at the age of five. His father was a waterbender, and had taught him the basics of the bending art. At the age of ten, he had excelled at what his father had taught him, so he was enrolled into a class for waterbenders. The old waterbending instructor before him, was his teacher, being gifted at waterbending he as well excelled in all the lessons that the teacher had given him.

He had become his teacher's best student, the older students that were a little older than Injuquaq were often jealous of him and tried to pick on him. At the age of 24, he had mastered the element of waterbending. Two weeks later, his teacher had died of old age. Injuquaq, was made the new instructor by the chieftess.

Meeting Avatar Kwan Chun[]

Avatar Kwan Chun had arrived at the Southern Water Tribe, and had an audience with the chieftess. Kwan Chun requested a waterbending teacher, and the chieftess had suggested Injuquaq who had just become a master and the new instructor since the old one had retired.

Meeting Kwan Chun, Injuquaq was very excited and honored that the Avatar had chosen him as his waterbending teacher. Injuquaq and Kwan Chun, had become fast friends, and every day they became closer. Injuquaq, had proved himself to be a great teacher as he disciplined Kwan Chun, he was also very dedicated to his class. That he won several awards, at the New Moon Festivals.

Injuquaq's Love Interest[]

After two or three years Injuquaq and Kwan Chun, were very close friends. Injuquaq had fallen for a girl named Eska during the time when he trained Kwan Chun. He married Eska his wife after three years of knowing her. Kwan Chun attended their wedding ceremony as Injuquaq's best man and had given a toast to honor the bride.

When they had met Injuquaq was quite shy around women he found attractive but he had nothing to worry about because Kwan Chun was Injuquaq's wing man. He persuaded Eska to speak with his friend it turns out she was very interested in him too. Eska was a waterbender too but mostly used her bending to heal others as worked as a healer with her grandmother.

They continued to talk for about six months, then began to date for three years. After another six months to seven months they were married. Kwan Chun, was Injuquaq's best man, for his wedding and had made a toast. Kwan Chun had later departed that night. But Avatar Kwan Chun, and Injuquaq had still kept in contact through letters that would reach any of the destinations that he was staying at.

Later Life[]

After his marriage, Injuquaq had two sons, three years apart from each other. He was still the master waterbender at the Northern Water Tribe, his position was later taken by his youngest son. His older son, was non-bender and had become a member of the Water Tribe military.

Injuquaq, had retired at the age of 68, his youngest son had taken over. Three years have passed, at the age of 71 Injuquaq had died of pneumonia. The waterbending instructor had been passed by generations of the same family that Injuquaq had hailed from.

Abilities[]

Injuquaq, was born a waterbender of the Southern Water Tribe. He was a gifted waterbender, as he excelled through his instructor's lessons. At the age of 24, Injuquaq had become a master.

He later met Avatar Kwan Chun, and soon became his waterbending teacher. He was known as a great instructor and was awarded many awards during his career. He had later retired at the age of 68, and gave the reign of instructor to his youngest son.
