H.I.V.E is a group of starter-up villains that show up in Jump city. They are kind of like the opposite of the Titans, instead of saving people from trouble, they cause trouble. Members of this group all had either an unknown past or a rough past in many means. From life-changing situations to just simple choices, they decide to join together to become, at least try to be, the best evil team. Of course the Titans had been giving them a ton of bad luck, thus not making their chances of being the best so easy to reach.

The members of this group originated from Jinx, Gizmo and Mammoth as original members. As time went on See-More and another unknown member joined in their group. The unknown member left later on and was replaced by Kyd Wykkyd and Billy Numerous, giving them 6 members by the time the S.C.P began to mess up their world. When S.C.P does come in, they trick Jinx into joining their group instead, making Gizmo the leader of the HIVE for the time being until Jinx comes back and takes control again.
