Rose is a Fire Nation citizen, born in the Fire Nation Capital in 863 BG.

Early life[]
Her father was a teacher at the university in the Fire Nation Capital. She was an average student, but her father expected more from her. During her first year at the university, her father pushed her hard. She had good grades, but she was miserable. That all change during her second year when Gatton came. He made everything seem so easy and understandable. They graduated together in 842, and later married. They had a son, Sven, two years later. She raised her son the best she could and watched him become a powerful Sage. She was proud to see him get married and have two children, and takes care of them when their mother is way for extended periods of time.
