Action/Adventure/Drama/ Alternate Universe
Gladiator is story by Jall. It is inspired by various "Gladiator" movies as suggested by the title. It has many characters from Avatar, with only three original characters for the story.
The story revolves around Orion as he fights in the great arena of the Fire Nation. He immediately finds himself put in a "Gladiator Team" consisting of himself, Sokka, Jet and former Fire Lord Iroh. As they rise up in popularity, they soon find themselves as an enemy of the champion of Arena. Upon the death of one of the team members the team disbands, causing various troubles to happen in their lives.
Orion: An ex-soldier, Orion finds himself as a Gladiator forced to fight for sport. While his past is never fully given, various hints to it are given. Despite having been a soldier he is not willing to kill.
Sokka: Sokka's history is very similar to his mainstream-counterpart, with a few exceptions. He is more serious, however like Orion he is not willing to take a life.
Jet: Unlike his other team mates, Jet is not as merciful. This is shown constantly when he tries to kill an opponent only to be stopped by Iroh.
Iroh: The former Fire Lord, he frequently stops Jet from killing. It is unknown if his son is still alive.
Kal: The old champion of the Arena. He is favored by Ozai and generally the entire populace. He is known for being able to tolerate large amounts of pain.
Kraken: The true ruler of the world, he merely uses Ozai as a puppet to keep himself safe.
