Burning Air is an amazing story. It takes us through what Sozin’s plan was for the Air Nomad’s, and what a young boy must do to protect his people. It’s well written, and very interesting. Crossfire

Crossfire by Omashu Rocks.

Crossfire, the newest fanon series by Omashu Rocks is a creative and engaging story of a sassy, reluctant assassin for the Fire Nation in the early days of the Hundred Year War. The action is great, the story is enticing, and the stage is set well. The fanon itself is defined by the voice of Nalia, the protagonist, and has already shown itself worthy of fanonbending from its earliest chapters. I'm sure it'll get even better when the story progresses. Well done, OR!

Daughter of Ashes and Air

I can't believe no one did it before me because it is truly an excellent fanon and I'm boot-kissing TAD to make her advertise my own fanon which desperately needs votes, despite those commenting saying it's awesome, ahem, hypocrites. It tells us the story of a Doublebender, Hai, who is part of the program for repopulating Air Nomads. Despite her not wanting at all to lose her Firebending, she's made an Airbender anyway (Aang thinks she's a volunteer). There's that enigmatic song at the beginning which seems to be connected to her, and we'll see pretty awesome spirits from what I've read. Yes, lots of mystery and an excellent writing which makes my own look even more pathetic. Excelsior

Truly one of the gems of the portal, Excelsior came out of nowhere and surprised... well, it surprised me. I had never seen such skill from such a new user. Sparkstoaflame has such a way with words that even her username is poetic, and leads you immediately into her style of writing.
