Outstanding Romance Series

Community Suggestions:

  1. Support Support —It's a Tokka fanon that follows the lives of Sokka and Toph from right after the war to six years after the war, with some time jumps in between. It's a well-written and epic romantic story, whether you personally like Tokka or not. --AvatarRokus Ghost (Message meRead my fanon) Aang Cosmic Toph-DoBS-2 17:33, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

  1. Support Resounding support — Not much to say here. It's brilliant. Expanding on the incredible ABCLAF, it makes Kataang look beautiful, like a flower in bloom, while keeping with in real world boundaries. Chapters including the ones focusing on Aang's sorrow, Katara's hidden pain, and everything else, it clearly deserves this award.*Winks at Bahjy* In protest of the message wall, READ THE SIG! 19:21, February 16, 2012 (UTC)
  2. Support Support — A passionate, vividly written and heavily emotional extension of A Bird Could Love a Fish, BWWTL brilliantly captures both the love between Katara and Aang, and the sadness that so often plagues the most beautiful of romances. 2. Support Support — I am not a Tokka shipper. I never even took it seriously. But I began to read this story and realized just how epic Tokka truly is. This fanon is emotional and beautiful, especially because of its unique and delicate characterizations of Toph and Sokka. Zuko-flord-c1wordbenderMai Sprite 05:54, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
  3. Support Support — Firebender's best talent, along with artistic ability, is her character development in stories like this. There is no doubt in my mind that this should be in the running. Omashu Rocks (Talk - Crossfire) Bosco 02:42, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series

Community Suggestions:

  1. Support Support — TAD herself lists this chapter as her personal favor -of the five that were written by that time. It's a masterpiece, and although lengthy, it reads like a train. We get more insight in Len and see Rorin struggle to find out more about her. There is thing incredibly enchanting piece about Mizu and Sonam and their respective bending "first stories." Stargazing, romance, a bit of humor, and brilliant writing. This chapter holds everything it needs to be one of the greats. And for those who are more action prone, in this chapter we also get to see some of Lady Zira's skills an personality. Let's just say that you don't want to meet her after dark -or when it's still light. Lady Lostris vstf (talkHotN) 09:24, February 17, 2012 (UTC)
  1. Support Support — Everything that Tad said in her nomination for Featured fanon. The description was beautiful. The deaths. Masterful. The amazing plot, the terror the reader will feel upon finishing a chapter. All of this, along with the reader's desperate desire to begin reading again, starting with the very first, beautiful word.*Winks at Bahjy* In protest of the message wall, READ THE SIG! 19:46, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

Best Main Character (Male)

Community Suggestions:

  1. Support Support — - Siro has all the qualities a great protagonist should have; he's flawed, like-able, and very relate-able. I felt for him when his father told him that Siro was going to serve the Fire Nation on the battlefield. Siro is a character that you learn to care about. Aang20791 Aang DOBS Sprite AtWA - EaE 21:07, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
  • Jamie - The First Anti-Bender
  1. Support Support — The centerpiece of Moon Beam's fascinating origin story for the Equalist movement of Legend of Korra, Jamie is simultaneously a troubled youth and an aspiring revolutionary, Jamie is by no means a simplistic protagonist. He is easily comparable to the most dynamic original characters of this wiki's series. Lovelyb0nes (wallcontribs) 21:42, February 16, 2012 (UTC)
  2. Support Support — Jamie's thoughts on benders, and how he, sometimes just "improvising", has managed to make so important changes for the world, and even founding a revolutionary group, plus the way the character is displayed through the fanon, make him one of the main attractions of the story and an awesome character. Dcasawang1wall 03:42, February 17, 2012 (UTC)
  1. Support Support — Mischievous, but kind-hearted and often misunderstood by those around him, this young version of Tenzin really ties the story together. --AvatarRokus Ghost (Message meRead my fanon) Aang Cosmic Toph-DoBS-2 17:35, February 16, 2012 (UTC)
  1. Support Support — A brilliant character and one of my favorites on the Wiki, Ain faces a troubling disjuncture between what he has been taught and the horrifying reality of saving the world, not to mention his constant battle with the Avatar State, an ideal that influenced me immensely.   TAD talkabclaf   16:31, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

Best Main Character (Female)

Community Suggestions:

  1. Support Support —Although we haven't seen that much of her yet, her introductory chapter was just breath-taking. Strong-willed and not holding anything back, Sera stands out among the great female characters on the fanon portal. --AvatarRokus Ghost (Message meRead my fanon) Aang Cosmic Toph-DoBS-2 19:31, February 16, 2012 (UTC)
  1. Support Support — Of course! Wei's deadly job and personality shape her into a very unique character of BlueDagger's action-packed fanon, Dancing Shadows. BlackMonkey Talk - Fire & Ice 21:21, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

Best Supporting Character (Male)

Community Suggestions:

  1. Support Support — Shinji is a really good supporting character. His impact on the story' events is big and is really worked on and pre-planned. Well played, Monkey. --Bahjy1 Message Wall Blog 18:06, February 17, 2012 (UTC)
  2. Support Support — Shinji is to put it simply the man! He's not just a sidekick. He's a deep dude with a background of his own. --AvatarMonarchist 19:45, February 17, 2012 (UTC)
  3. Support Support — Shinji is probably the best Firebending character on the wiki. Omashu Rocks (Talk - Crossfire) Bosco 02:42, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
  • Tirril - Crossroads of the Spirit
  1. Support Support — CotS is an amazing story, and I can't help but laugh every time Tirril passes the revue. This guy is sassy, sarcastic, helpful, nosy, and has one hell of a gutter mind -he can make the Gutter Lord rich. He sort of the comic relieve, but he's also more than that. Just two words to completely describe this guy: He rules. Lady Lostris vstf (talkHotN) 21:34, February 16, 2012 (UTC)
  2. Support Support — Tirril is outright awesome. Anytime he's in the vicinity he can get the reader - or those around him - to crack a smile and enjoy his company. His very presence livens up each chapter, leaving the reader wanting to see more of his antics to see just what his mind is like. ^^" Then to top it all of he takes this carefree, entertaining attitude and breaks it when the time is necessary, getting all serious and really making his points stand out as such. He's a great, excellently crafted support character. Vulmen (talkEoK) 21:46, February 19, 2012 (UTC)

  1. Support Yes, yes, and hell yes. — Now this...I've been asked before why I don't read many fanons. Here's the reason. I'm too busy reading one fanon, a fanon that shouldn't be given such a name; this fanon, Alone, deserves only one title: a masterpiece. The depth of it all, the creativity of it (especially tying the story in with 9/11), how each and every single character's every action is thoroughly justified and perfectly described, there is nothing else like it. And all of it is created by one author: Millennia2. I don't think any person will argue that Millennia is one of the, if not the, greatest writer the fanon portal has ever seen. Millennia's abilities to stab at your emotions with grossly explicit descriptions and such unpredictable twists in the plot is unmatched by any other story I've read; I say, with all honesty, that this fanon is actually better than the great "real" novels, like Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Tuesdays With Morrie. Millennia, you deserve this. And I'm glad to support you in your path to getting it.*Winks at Bahjy* In protest of the message wall, READ THE SIG! 19:33, February 16, 2012 (UTC)
  2. Support Support — In the time between the Autumn 2010 ceremony and this current ceremony, Alone has evolved from an honourable mention to a likely award-sweeper and guaranteed top contender. Congratulations, Millennia. You have truly earned your place alongside our first generation of fanon legends, such as Vaznock, Dragon of The West, Twilitlink, Waterkai, Superflash, and the Bos.
