The basis Edit

This is the basics. Every two weeks, or rather, whenever a new issue of the Ba Sing Se Times arrives, we will have one fanon to be our current fanon promotion. We will write a bit about it in the Ba Sing Se Times that marks the start of the current fanon promotion, and then that story will be advertised in the following places:

• That Ba Sing Se Times issue
• Each White Lotus Sentinel issue
• The fanon portal main page
• The top of this page
• The Fanon Review Squad main page
• All fanon articles
• Various user pages

Note: If you wish to advertise the current fanon promotion to help out this system and the popularity of unknown fanon, stick the {{FanonPromotion}} template on your page and we'll put it on the list above.

Sign up for a fanon promotion Edit

This is where you can sign up to have your fanon get an official promotion in this system. However, so all the popular fanons don't take up all the space in the advertising schedule, in order put your fanon's name down you need to meet certain requirements:

• The fanon is still in production or will be still in production during the time period you request it to be promoted.
• The fanon has two or fewer active fans (active meaning reading/giving feedback on every chapter fairly quickly after it is published).
• The fanon has been created for at least two weeks so it can be properly seen as being either popular or unpopular.
• The fanon has never been promoted in this section of the Fanon Advertising System before.
• An author cannot ask for a fanon promotion if another fanon of theirs has been promoted in this system in the past 2 months.

It's a lot, but this way the least popular fanons will get the fairest way possible to boost up their fan count. If you think you want your fanon promoted in the system and have met the requirements above, please edit the schedule section below and give a link to your fanon next to the time period you want. Do not create your own spots - use only empty ones given.
