Zuko, something happened to Eyes of Katara in the last hundred years.
This fanon has been discontinued, but is still available to read for your enjoyment.

Creation[]
This series, Eyes of Katara, was developed due to reading numerous complaints and misunderstandings about the canon character, Katara. Katara is Vulmen's favorite character in the series, so this greatly disappointed him. After having watched the series in excess of three times over, and reading numerous canon articles regarding the series, he decided to fill in the missing bits and pieces of his most adored character.
Another deciding factor in the desire to write this series is the writer's urge to improve his writing skills. He hopes to receive useful, knowledgeable feedback in response to his chapters, and possibly reviews as well, to better his stability as an author.
Plot[]
The Fanon, Eyes of Katara, will be a close mirror replica of the canon TV Series. As such, readers will be aware(for the most part) of each following scene. There will be three major exceptions; however.
- Firstly, the series left numerous time-openings in between scenes, and even in the middle of various episodes themselves, with which anything could have happened. Fanon events will be written to fill in some of these missing elements, kept in character to canon as best as the author sees.
- Secondly, the series will fully follow the character Katara. This means that if, in the series, Katara did not see an event occur or was not present, then it will not make it into this Fanon.
- Thirdly, this Fanon will provide the myriad of emotions that Katara passed through during the series, displaying her innermost thoughts to the environment around her and how this continued to shape the woman she grows into.
The series will build upon the story of Katara, as seen through her eyes, to display a view of the outside world and other characters from her obviously biased viewpoint. The Fanon will lead up to the same climactic ending of the series, providing a full and complete conception of her character. From there the story may continue on to provide what aftermath came following the final events, though as of currently the author has not decided whether he will continue the current Fanon in that light, or begin a second Fanon to pick up where Eyes of Katara would complete.
Goal[]
Vulmen hopes to provide an enjoyable read to the series, filled with numerous insights that may surprise even knowledgeable fans. As a whole, Eyes of Katara should add numerous clarity and new untold events that may provide a fresh new look to the series as a whole, as well as a greater understanding and appreciation for the character Katara. And ultimately, he hopes that avid fans that read his work may even find themselves pondering what content was not actually in the series' episodes, leading some to watch certain episodes over.
