Trivia[]

  • This episode was originally part of "New Cycle: Part 1", but after the rewrite in webtoon format episodes were split in order to fit in webtoon as individual chapters.
  • Originally, the scene of the Silverfox Family and Denryoku visiting the Firestone's was omitted, it was later added for consistency.
  • Sterkur's cooking abilities are first mentioned here, with Shera and Vona's comment on his famous "Volcanic Rolls", an allusion to the Sushi of California Rolls and also alluding to Stekur's lavabending heritage.
  • Part of Yetai Tong in this Episode was actually inspired in San Francisco's Chinatown.
    • It's shown in the same shot various interactions between humans and spirits that show the development of the world and the relationships between humans and spirits ever since the portals were left open.
    • It can be seen in the same shot that an Aye-Aye spirit can be spotted interacting with a red-clothed human.
    • There is cameo of two of Parker's best friends in the shot.
  • In the Sato Estate's aerial shot, it can be seen that new instalations have been added to the complex.
  • This episode took inspiration from Parker's real life events when it came to the rappel scene.
  • This episode helped reach the milestone of 1000 reads and 75 subscribers in Webtoon.
  • Looking closely to Iruka's jacket, it can be seen a pattern of pink snowflakes sprinkled over it.
    • This was originally an allusion to him being pansexual, but he was later changed to gay, which lead to a design change in later episodes.
  • The rappel instructor's design, though minor, was based of the original look of Sterkur.
    • In the original drafted scene, the instructor, Kensi, and Shaila, weren't present.
    • The instructor's design also was loosely based of one of the White Lotus Sentries in the previous episode.
  • This is part of the only episodes to be part of a three-parter.
  • This episode had to be finished three days earlier due to Parker having a trip at the time of the release, which was right one day before his 20th birthday.
  • The place for the rappel site is actually inspired in the Summer Camp site where Parker had the original idea for Hikar, which is near the Torrejara Juvenile Camping, in Guadalajara, Spain.
  • This is the only episode to not feature any bending at all.
