~~The Spirit World~~
~~The Realm of Koh~~
"Okay, we're here," said Avatar Roku. "I'm afraid, that we can't help you anymore."
"But why?" Asked Aang.
"We are all just your spiritual guides. We are not allowed to intervene in your battles." Replied Avatar Roku. "When the time comes we will help you get back to the Physical World. But for now, we must leave you." The Spiritual Guides, all four of them slowly faded away, leaving the Gaang alone.
"So, what's the plan, Aang?" Asked Sokka.
"Wait, aren't you suppose to be the idea guy?" Replied Aang, confused.
"Yeah, usually. But now we're in the Spirit World and you're the Avatar. I think that you know more about this place than any of us." Replied Sokka.
"Okay. See that tree over there?" Said Aang. "Under it lies the Realm of Koh. That's where we'll find you great-grandfather. Now, Koh is also known as the face stealer. You can't show him any emotions of he will steal your face. It's almost impossible to trick him, because he is one of the oldest and wisest spirits so this is going to be very tricky."
"I think I've got a plan." Replied Sokka. "Let's go."
The Gaang followed Aang as they entered the entrance under the massive tree. They slowly and quietly, without showing any emotions walked through the passageways, down to the bottom of Koh's Realm. "So, to whom do I ow the honor of being my guest," said a creepy voice in the shadows. A large centipede like creature appeared before them. It was Koh.
"We're here to get Jinju," said Aang, without any signs of emotions. "We know, that you have him."
"Well, we will see what you'll give me in return for your friend, dear Avatar. Come, don't be scared, follow me to my guest rooms," said Koh, guiding them into his dungeon. "Your timing is very amusing, Avatar. Just last week, your past life, Avatar Kuruk wanted to slay me. I was lucky enough to survive. But don't worry. I got my price," said Koh, as he changed his appearance to the one of Avatar Kuruk. "It fits me quite well, don't you think?"
"You're a monster, you know that?" Said Aang, without any signs of emotions.
"Thank you. That really means a lot to me." Replied Koh in return, mocking the Avatar. "So, was my advice helpful. Did the moon spirit survive?"
"HEY! YOU KN..." Shouted Sokka before Aang put his hand over his face.
"He is only trying to get to you. He knows what happened to Yue. He only wants to make you mad so he'll take your face," said Aang, calmly.
"Well, you're a little different now, than you were the last time I saw you," said Koh. You're calmer, more serious and determined to achieve victory. Even more that the last time. But don't worry. You will crack and I'll have the privilege of wearing your face."
"Oh, don't worry." Replied Aang. "I'm stronger than ever."
The Gaang and the Face Stealer arrived to his dungeon. There they saw numerous people without their faces. "So, what do you think of my collection?" Asked the spirit, trying to make them mad and frustrated.
"Again, Koh. You are sick." Replied Aang. "How could you do such a thing to innocent people?!"
"AANG! He is messing with our heads again. What's done is done. Let's just move on. We have to find Jinju." Replied Katara.
"You look familiar, little girl. I remember that I saw someone, who looked just like you in the afterlife. She was scared. I saw her facial expression." Replied Koh. "YOU MONSTER! How could you?" Screamed Katara.
"Katara STOP!" Shouted Aang. "If you really stole her mother's face then show us. Turn into Kya, Katara's mother."
"Very well played, young Avatar. Well then, we are here. Your friend is through this door." Replied Koh.
The Gaang opened the door and saw Jinju resting. "Aang, Hokai? Is that you?" He asked.
"Yup, it's us. How'd you been?" Asked Aang, lightening the mood in the room. "What, I don't get it," said Sokka. "I saw you in my vision. You were in the Southern Water Tribe and you were older. You look as if you were twelve years old." "As a spirit I have the ability to choose my age, Sokka" Said Jinju.
"Wait, how do you know who I am?" Asked Sokka.
"Well, I am you great-grandfather. And I was the one, that contacted you while you were meditating." Replied Jinju. "Now, don't I deserve a hug from my great-grandchildren?"
The two siblings simultaneously hugged their, apparently young great-grandfather. "It's so nice to finally meet you," said Katara. "The pleasure is all mine." Jinju replied.
"Now, let's get out of here." Aang said. "This place gives me the creeps."
"No one is going anywhere," said a voice in the shadows.
"At least not until I get a new face for my collection," said Koh. "All the doors are sealed and your bending abilities don't work in the Spirit World. You have to give me an offering." "I'll do it," said Sokka.
"Sokka, please. I just met you and I don't want to loose you," said Jinju. "I have to do this," said Sokka as he slowly stepped before Koh.
"Now. I'll give you some time, so you'll be able to choose a facial expression that suits me," said Koh, as he turned around, so that Sokka could make a facial expression."
"Okay, I'm ready," said Sokka. When Koh turned around he didn't see Sokka, but himself. Sokka grabbed a mirror out of Katara's purse and placed it before Koh. "No, what have you done?!" Said Koh, as he looked into the mirror. His original face was torn off of his body and the Spirit died in front of them.
"Let's get out of here," said Jinju. "I've been in this rotten prison too long." The Gaang rushed down the hallways, liberating Koh's captives from their cells, and finally reaching freedom of the outside.
"You've done well," said a voice. It was Avatar Roku and the other Spiritual Guides. "I am very proud of you all. Only a few people had the willpower to withstand Koh's torture of words. Even a few Avatar's fell into his grasp. I'm afraid that the ones that already lost their faces will remain the same forever."
"But enough of this bad news for today. It's time that you kids get back to your world," said Monk Gyatso. "Wait, I have a request," said Sokka. "Monk Tashi, is it possible that Jinju would be my Spiritual Guide?"
"I completely understand. A bond between family is the strongest in the world." Replied Monk Tashi. "Now, it's been a long day ahead of you. You must be tired." The Spiritual Guides used their abilities and started transporting the Gaang back to the Physical world.
"Oh, and don't forget to say "Hi" to Guru Pathik." Added Monk Gyatso.
In a heart beat the Gaang found themselves back in the Physical world, at the Eastern Air Temple.
~~The Physical World~~
"So, was your mission a success?" Asked Guru Pathik.
"Yes, yes, it was," replied Aang. "Oh, and a good old friend said, 'Hi'."
