Biobending is a bending art in which a person bends bio. Not very much is known about Biobending, but it is known that Biobending resembles Energybending more than any other bending art.

Biobending Background

It is claimed by many people that the Death God was the first Biobender. The Death God taught a group of his close followers the art of Biobending, thus creating the Biobending Corps. The Biobending Corps led by the Death God then went on to overthrow the King of The United Republic. Now that The United Republic is controlled by the Death God, Biobending quickly spread through the city and is currently growing around the world. The great growth of Biobending is due to the Death Gods current conquest.

Types of Biobending

There are two main types of Biobending. One is categorized as positive and the other is negative. Positive Biobending is healing and reviving life. Negative Biobending is life absorbing.

Biobending Moves

Energy Releasing- This technique is performed when a Biobender releases energy from their own body. This is the basis of positive Biobending.

Healing- This technique is performed when a Biobender uses their chi to heal wounds of themselves, or other people. This ability falls under positive Biobending.

Reviving- This technique is performed when a Biobender uses their chi to bring a person back from the dead.

Life Absorbing- This technique is performed when a Biobender uses their chi to absorb life energy from a person. This falls under the category of negative Biobending.

Energy Blast- This technique is performed when a Biobender releases energy within themselves to blast it at an opponent. This technique falls under the category of positive Biobending.

Risks of Biobending

The risk of Biobending is the over use of the bending art. To perform Biobending techniques it requires a person to constantly create or destroy cells, greatly damaging the body. Over use of Biobending in a battle can result in the bender's death or passing out from fatigue.
