Plot Edit

The story revolves around a young man named Satsuya Ishii who lives in Republic City during the time of the Anti-bending Revolution. The story tells about his harrowing tale of being drawn into an all out war with the Equalists. However, he also has to face a new enemy to the Republic, an extremely violent group that knows no end nor mercy. Satsuya is famous in the Republic because he is an author who has written many best sellers at a very young age. As he progresses through his journey, he finds his novels have far more chilling implications. Not only that, he has to live his life with his friends and brother in a time of modern marvels.

Characters Edit

Satsuya Ishii- Satsuya is a 17 year old boy who lives in Republic City with his brother Benjiro. Satsuya is a stunt pilot/test driver/welder for Future Industries. Since he is an avid supporter of Future Industries, he owns a blue Satomobile sports car. He has it painted blue to avoid confusion with any Triad cars. He is also an author and is the youngest person to write a best seller in the Republic. He is a firebender who was taught the traditional ways to fight by an old master who lived nearby instead of the "modernized amateur rubbish" as his master called it. Satsuya and his brother used to be street urchins after the boy's parents were killed in a fire caused by the Agni Kai Triad for unknown reasons. Sutsuya is described as, "reflective, depressed, serious, kind, gentlemanly, and smart."

Benjiro Ishii- Benjiro is a 12 year old boy living with his older brother Sutsuya in Republic City. He is an earthbender and is currently improving his metalbending after being taught by Chief Beifong and Captain Saikhan. Benjiro is currently serving as an apprentice to Lin Beifong. He is a major Pro-bending fan and tries to get to every match in any way possible, which includes sneaking in. He usually hangs out with kids at Central City Station, but often roams around the dockyards to look for new arrivals from other areas around the world. He has a strong bond with his brother as Satsuya was the one who take care of him when Satsuya was only 8 and Benjiro was 2. Satsuya is usually alright with Benjiro roaming around, but he always has a slight tinge of terrible feelings when his brother is gone. Satsuya always has him carry enough yuans to call him on the pay phones throughout the city. Benjiro is described as "happy-go-lucky, mature for his age, a jokester, crazy, daredevil, and smooth."

Chokichi Watanabe- Chokichi is a pro-bender, specifically the team captain of the Northern Temple Flying Lemurs, a pro-bending team that has two championships, but are currently in a slump. He has a bitter rivalry with the White Falls Wolfbats captain Tahno. He is one of Sutsuya's best friends and they often dare each other into dangerous stunts, like racing their Satomobiles through Republic City's bustling streets. He is a waterbender. Chokichi's family owns a bakery and he often sends his family money to help with the bills. In fact, Sutsuya's family used to shop at the Watanabe's bakery and the two used to be friends before the fire, but didn't realize it. The two friends usually frequent at Narook's Noodle shop, but they also go to jazz clubs to enjoy dinner and gawk at girls. The two friends often converse about the history of the world which they both know very well. Chokichi is described as "wisecracking, goofy, smart, and smooth."
