Chapter 1 Prologue

Facing problems and obstacles that no other Avatar had ever faced before, Avatar Aang had faced impossible odds, but in the end he won the day. He had faced many hardships and managed to begin healing the scars that 100 years of war had left behind. Being the Avatar was one of the most difficult jobs in the world, but it did have its advantages, If Aang wasn't the Avatar, he would of never ran away and been frozen in an iceberg, and then he would of never met Katara, Sokka, Toph or any of the friends he had right now.

Aang sat contemplating this while in the Jasmine Dragon teashop, owned by his friend Iroh. Aang took a sip of Iroh's amazingly good tea, Happily surveying his friends having a good time in the Tea shop.

"Zuko, stop moving!" Sokka shouted.

"I'm trying to capture the moment!"

Aang glanced over to see Sokka painting a portrait of all his friends. Soon everyone had gathered around Sokka, criticizing his poor painting skills. Aang simply smiled and quietly stepped outside to admire the sunset, patting Appa on the head on his way out.

Aang inhaled the cool evening air as Katara walked up silently next to him. He looked over at her and their eyes met. The two embraced one another in a hug, and then they kissed. Aang could've stayed that way forever. When Toph 's voice cut through the peaceful silence.

"Well it's about time, Twinkle toes!"

Katara and Aang quickly pulled away from each other, both of their faces were completely red.

"Sorry, we didn't mean to interrupt." Sokka said sheepishly.

Katara scowled at both of them.

"Well couldn't you see we were in the middle of something?"

"Well you two can lock lips later, because Iroh is serving dinner and he wanted us to come and get you." Toph informed them

Aang and Katara both scowled some more before walking toward the tea shop. Katara's hand slipped into Aang's, the two glanced at each other one more time before they entered the building. Aang took a seat at the head of the table since he was the Avatar. Katara sat off to his left while Sokka sat across from her, everyone else took their seats as Zuko and his uncle served roast duck and several other delicious looking dishes. Soon everyone was feasting on Iroh's delicious food.

"I knew it was only a matter of time before Aang and Katara got together." Sokka said after a minute or two of silence.

"I knew Katara's relationship with Jet would be complete failure after he tried to destroy that town, and I would of never let it happen because he was rotten cabbage from the beginning."

"Then there was Haru, but that would have been a rocky relationship as well." Sokka laughed at his own joke, and Suki giggled a little, but everyone else stared blankly at Sokka.

"That was the worst joke I have ever heard." Iroh said breaking the awkward silence.

Everyone laughed at that. Sokka scowled and shoved a spoonful of komodo chicken into his mouth. Then he gagged and fell out of his seat.

"He's choking! Mai shouted."

"I'll help him." Toph grumbled getting up from her chair.

She assisted Sokka to his feet and then punched him in the gut, causing a small bone to fly from his mouth. Zuko caught the bone and placed it in the garbage. Sokka gasped for air and then glanced over at the blind earthbender.

"Thanks Toph." He managed

"No mention it, now were even from that time you saved me from falling off that airship." She replied.

Sokka sat down in his chair and continued to talk.

"Well, as I was saying I know Aang will treat my sister well, even the Avatar should know how to treat a girl."

Aang nodded confidently.

"If I ever need advice, I'll just ask you or Zuko, I'm newer to this then you guys are."

"I don't know, Sokka isn't exactly the best person for advice on this topic." Suki warned him.

"Who's side are you on!" Sokka complained.

Aang and Katara laughed almost simultaneously. Soon the main course had been finished and Aang went to make some Air Nomad Fruit Pies for desert. Iroh broke out his Tsungi Horn and began playing a tune, it was a slow song and Zuko and Sokka began to slow dance with their girlfriends. Toph simply smiled and took a sip of tea from her cup. Katara walked over and sat down next to her.

"Are you waiting for Aang?" Toph asked.

"Of course I am." Katara replied.

Iroh continued playing the same tune for about ten minutes before Aang came out of the kitchen. He quickly realized what was going on and walked over to Katara.

"May I have this dance?" Aang asked with a grin.

Katara nodded and took Aang's hand as he lead her out to where the others were dancing. Soon the sun had gone down and the stars and the Moon had taken over the skies. Everyone thanked Iroh for dinner and returned to their temporary homes in the Upper ring of the city. Aang, Sokka, Toph, and Katara returned to the house they had stayed in before they had left Ba Sing Se. Everyone plopped down onto their beds. Aang sighed happily.

"Good night Sokka." He said.

"Good night Aang." Sokka replied, then within seconds Sokka was snoring.

"Good night Toph." Katara said.

"Good night Mom...Err...I... Oh crud." Toph groaned.

"Toph, it's okay." Katara told her.

"Good night Aang." Toph grumbled before falling asleep.

"Good night Katara." Aang said quietly.

"Good night." She replied.

Soon Aang was fast asleep. It had been a perfect day.

Azula sat in her cell, chained to the floor. She was in a mental health facility on the Boiling Rock, the same place where Mai and Ty Lee betrayed her. Soon she would break out of this miserable prison and exact revenge on the Avatar and his friends. Especially that foolish Water Tribe girl, she would be the first to die. Azula knew that, even she couldn't fight the Avatar alone. She would need some help. But there was time to figure that out later. Right now, she needed to escape. Azula focused all her rage and then with a snarl pulled her arms upwards breaking the chains that held her to the floor. A guard walked in and yelped in alarm. He ran off to raise the alarm, but before he even exited the cell, Azula silenced him with a fire blast to the head. Then she sprinted out of her cell. Several guards rushed her but she burned them all to ashes with a massive stream of blue fire. Azula proceeded down to the lower levels of the prison, destroying anyone who got in her way. Then The Warden stepped out from the shadows, Mai's uncle.

"Out of my way, or I'll incinerate you." Azula snarled.

"Go back to your cell." The Warden said calmly.

Azula shot a blast of fire that The Warden easily dodged.

"No firebending is permitted in my prison, don't make me send you to the cooler." He warned.

"I'd like to see you try." Azula sneered.

The Warden drew his sword.

"This is your last warning; Firelord Zuko gave me permission to kill you if you tried to escape."

That was the last straw for Azula, in a matter of seconds she generated lighting, but not just blue lighting, this lighting was a bloody red. The Warden's eyes widened as the red lighting struck him directly in the heart, with a yell of pain he fell dead to the floor. Azula laughed manically and shot flames in every direction, lighting the entire cell block on fire. Hundreds of guards came running into the cell block blocking the main exit to the prison's exterior. Azula jumped down to the main floor and landed in front of them.

"Your all traitors to the Fire Nation let me pass so I can find the Avatar and destroy him."

One of the guards laughed.

"Crazy girl we fight for Firelord Zuko, Ozai has been imprisoned and the Avatar is working to restore the Fire Nation's honor."

Azula could barely contain her rage, she half screamed and half cried as she unleashed a massive fire blast. Incinerating all the guards and blowing the cell blocks wall to pieces. She couldn't believe how powerful her firebending was. Insanity did have its perks. Azula proudly strode into prison yard. Even if it was the middle of the night and she knew that more guards would try to stop her. Azula turned and fired a jet of fire at the guard barracks. The entire building burst into flames. Azula then proceeded to destroy every last building. More and more guards came to stop her, but they all met the same fate. Azula soon had burned the entire complex to the ground. All the guards had been dealt with. Azula hopped onto the prisons gondola that served as transportation from the prison to the rim of the volcano. When Azula got there she cut the gondola lines with two fire whips. Then on the beach she noticed a small war balloon. She strode down to the war balloon and within minutes she was airborne. The sun was rising on the horizon. Azula glanced back at the smoke coming up from the place where she was imprisoned.

"Father would be impressed." She thought.

Then she sat down on the floor of the war balloon and began to snore.

Chapter 2 A Morning on the Town

Aang yawned happily as he awoke; everyone else had just gotten up. Aang slowly got out of bed stretching his arms and yawning again. Aang quickly got dressed and sat down with his friends to have breakfast. Katara was wearing her hair down and was back in her Water Tribe clothes, instead of the green Earth Kingdom dress she was wearing yesterday. Toph and Sokka were back in their regular clothes as well.

"So what are we going to do today?" Toph asked while everyone was still eating.

"Suki and I were going to hang out with Zuko and Mai." Sokka replied.

"What are you goanna do today Toph?" Aang asked.

She blew the hair out of her face.

"I was going to meet up with The Duke and Pipsqueak, what about you?"

Aang shrugged.

"I was thinking about hanging out with Katara, just take morning walk through the Upper Ring, visit The Earth King and Bosco, and then meet up with Sokka by noon."

"So you would like to hang out with your new girlfriend alone, Twinkle Toes?" Toph teased.

"As I matter a fact, yes I would." Aang retorted.

Toph blinked in surprise.

" Okay just checking." She replied.

Aang looked over to see Katara blushing.

"So how do you feel about this, Katara?" Sokka asked with a bit of sarcasm.

"I think a morning walk with Aang would be nice." She replied with a smile.

"Besides I know you like The Duke, Toph." Katara teased.

"Whoa hold up." Toph growled her entire face had turned red.

"You think that I like The Duke." Her voice had a dangerous edge to it as if rocks were going to start flying around any second.

"It's pretty obvious, Toph." Aang replied.

"Sokka do you agree with them, DO YOU THINK I LIKE THE DUKE!?" Toph shouted stomping her foot.

"Hey, I'm staying out of this one, I don't want to be beat over the head with a boulder." He replied flatly.

"Well I'm going, enjoy your date, Katara!" Toph shouted as she left.

"Don't worry, I will!" She called back.

With that Toph slammed the door. Aang, Katara, and Sokka could still hear the Blind Earthbender stomping and yelling in anger as she walked down the street.

"Why can't you two just get along." Aang grumbled.

Katara shrugged.

"I was just teasing her."

"Well I'm going to leave before sge comes back and blows another hole in the house." Sokka said getting up from his seat.

"See you guys later."

"Bye Sokka, see you at lunch." Aang replied.

Sokka walked out the door and walked off down the street.

"You ready to go?" Katara asked Aang.

He nodded. Together they got up from the table and left the house.

"Stupid Katara, saying that I liked the Duke, of all the dirty... rotten... no good." Toph shouted in anger and hit the wall of the nearest house, denting it.

She continued walking down the street, eventually she met up with The Duke and Pipsqueak. The Duke quickly realized something was up.

"Is something wrong, Toph?" He asked.

"Yeah you look kind of angry." Pipsqueak said with concern.

I'm fine, I just had an argument with Katara. She replied

"What was the argument about?" The Duke asked as he put his hand on Toph's shoulder.

She blushed and pulled away.

"I'm fine, don't worry."

Then she looked at The Duke and grinned.

"So what are we going to do?" She asked.

"We were going to visit the Zoo Aang built in the Agrarian zone of the city." Pipsqueak explained

"We better hurry then we don't want to miss the train." Toph replied.

With that they sprinted to the nearest train station.

Sokka whistled as he walked down the streets of Ba Sing Se. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the wind was perfectly calm, and it was nice and warm. Sokka scowled as he past the poetry club that he had visited a while back. He still had a score to settle with that place, but Suki was waiting for him, so revenge would have to wait. Then he saw Suki, Zuko and Mai waiting for him a little bit farther down the street. Suki had an excited look on her face.

"Good Morning my friends." Sokka said.

"Guess what." Suki said.

"What?" Sokka asked.

"Something came today from a messenger, an old friend." Mai explained

"Who?" Sokka asked unable to contain his excitement.

Suki took something out of a very large leather pouch. A silver Water Tribe boomerang.

"BOOMERANG!" Sokka shouted in joy.

"You came back!"

Zuko took something out from behind his back.

"The messenger also found this." He said.

"My space sword!" Sokka screamed.

He cradled the two weapons as if rocking a baby to sleep.

"Thank goodness, I thought I never see either of you ever again." Sokka placed the sword back in its old sheath and returned Boomerang back to its old home on his back.

"Thank you so much, guys." He said. The four of them then walked off to meet Uncle Iroh at the Jasmine Dragon.

Aang and Katara walked side by side through the streets of the Earth Kingdom Capital, reminiscing about their previous adventures.

"Remember that time I tried to ride The Unagi?" Aang asked.

"Tried being the keyword," Katara said with a laugh.

"I'm the one who had to drag your unconscious butt back to shore."

"Well I'm the one who saved you from those boulders in the Cave of Two Lovers." Aang replied with a sly grin.

Katara laughed again.

"Good times." She said with a sigh.

"Do you think Toph is still mad at me?" She asked.

"No way you two fight all the time, but it never interferes with your friendship." Aang replied sincerely.

"I can't believe I defeated the Firelord, when I first learned I'd have to fight him I thought I wasn't goanna come back."

"I always knew you could do it." Katara whispered taking Aang's hand.

" Well let's go, slow poke we don't want to keep Bosco and The Earth King waiting." Aang said playfully.

The two then continued to the palace.

"Hey Zuko, catch!" Sokka yelled as he tossed his boomerang at the new Firelord.

He caught the boomerang with ease and threw it back at Sokka.

"So where's Toph?" Mai asked Sokka.

"Who knows, she and Katara had a fight this morning." He replied.

"What were they fighting about this time?" Suki asked sarcastically.

Sokka explained what had happened earlier to Suki, Mai and Zuko.

"I always thought she did like The Duke." Mai murmured.

"That's what Aang and Katara said!" Sokka protested.

"Speaking of Aang and Katara, where are they?" Zuko asked.

"They went to visit the Earth King and Bosco, alone." Sokka replied.

"Alone, like Girlfriend and Boyfriend alone!" Suki asked in excitement.

Sokka nodded.

"We're going to meet up with them at noon." He said before throwing the boomerang at Zuko resuming their game of catch.

Toph stared blankly at the floor of the train they were traveling in.

"How much longer, Toph?" Pipsqueak groaned.

"Ask The Duke, I don't even know where this zoo is." Toph grumbled.

"We're almost there, Pipsqueak another few minutes or so." The Duke replied, and then he looked at Toph with concern.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"I told you not to worry, I'm tougher then I look." Toph smiled in appreciation.

"But thanks for checking."

Then the train slowed to a stop.

"This our stop, come on let's go." Pipsqueak said as he put Toph and The Duke on his shoulders as they exited the train.

Then as they reached the zoo's entrance Pipsqueak set Toph on the ground where she could "see" the animals.

"Whoa look at the size of that platypus bear!" The Duke shouted in excitement.

"Yeah he's the biggest I've ever seen." Toph replied jokingly.

Pipsqueak and The Duke burst out laughing.

"Those Hog monkeys are pretty cool too." Pipsqueak added in after he stopped laughing.

The group moved over to the Hog monkey exhibit. As the group moved around the zoo, Toph's anger at Katara began to subside. She would have to apologize to Katara when she got the chance and ask her for some advice.

"Hey Pipsqueak, can we meet up with my friends around noon?" She asked.

"Well of course, Toph." Pipsqueak replied.

"Thanks because I think I'm goanna try and apologize to Katara." She explained.

"That's good, Toph." The Duke said.

The trio then set off to explore the rest of the zoo.

"Greetings Avatar Aang and Katara of the Southern Water Tribe, it is good to see some familiar faces." The Earth King said as the duo walked into the room.

"Good Afternoon, Earth King Kuei." Aang replied with a bow.

Then Bosco the bear let out a friendly roar and Katara responded by patting Bosco on the head.

" Nice to see you too Bosco." She told the bear.

"Are your other friends with you?" Kuei asked.

"No, it just the two of us." Aang replied.

"Ah, I see," Kuei replied as if understanding why it was just the two of them.

"Wait a minute," Katara said.

"I thought you and Bosco were going to travel the world."

"I got bored about two weeks after I left you guys, then when I heard The Avatar defeated the Firelord and the Order of the White Lotus had retaken the city, I rushed back here to reclaim my throne," Kuei explained.

"That makes sense...sort of," Aang said, rubbing the back of his head.

"I have a bit of bad news," Kuei grumbled.

"Shortly after the city was retaken by The Order of The White Lotus, Long Feng escaped from prison with the help of the Dai Li."

Aang and Katara looked at each other nervously.

"It's only a matter of time until he decides he wants revenge, then he'll try to kill you," Kuei warned them.

Chapter 3

A Gathering Storm

Long Feng walked into the pub, flanked by two Dai Li agents. There was a vast majority of former convicts, traitors, murderers and numerous other criminals. They all turned to face him as he walked into the room. Long Feng simply sat down at the nearest table while his two body guards remained standing. Long Feng ordered a drink and then surveyed the room. He used to own this city, now he was here hanging out with the scum of the Lower Ring. The waitress brought him his drink and he took a small sip from the clay mug. Then a conversation between two thugs caught his attention.

"Yeah, I saw the Avatar taking a walk with his girlfriend this morning, she had a nice necklace. I considered mugging them," one thug grumbled.

"That's suicide, the Avatar would just beat on you with all four elements fighting him is a death wish," the other replied with a laugh.

"The Avatar isn't invincible," Long Feng told the two thugs.

"How would you know?" The bartender asked from across the room.

The entire pub went silent waiting for Long Feng to reply. Then he stood up.

"You used to be the most feared criminals in the world. Now look at you sitting in a pub that smells like a Hog monkeys butt, drowning yourselves in whiskey. All because you fear the wrath of 12 year old boy and his band of bratty rejects."

"Yeah, Pretty much," a thug replied.

Long Feng shook his head and sat down.

"I don't fear him," a voice said from the pub's main entrance. Everyone turned to see Azula walking into the pub.

"I have a plan to defeat him; first we must attack the people he holds dear," Azula sneered.

"Thanks for telling us about Long Feng," Katara told the Earth King.

"We'll be ready."

Then Bosco stomach growled and the bear walked off to find some lunch. Aang's eyes widened.

"Wait what time is it!" He asked.

"An hour past noon, why?" Kuei asked.

"We're late!" Katara said with gasp.

"Sorry, Kuei, but we need to go meet our friends at the Jasmine Dragon," she explained.

"I understand," the Earth King said with a nod.

Aang then quickly scooped Katara up in his arms and bended an air scooter for them to ride on. Then the two of them zoomed out of the throne room.

"See you later, guys!" He shouted as they left.

"Farwell!" The Earth King called back.

Aang and Katara zipped through the streets of Ba Sing Se, dodging pedestrians and cabbage carts and going up and over walls. If there is one disadvantage to the air scooter it's that it has no brakes. As the Jasmine Dragon came into view, Aang and Katara saw the rest of their friends huddled in a circle waiting for them. Aang realized he was approaching the group too fast and was unable to jump off the air scooter before it crashed into the group. Mai and Zuko were knocked to the ground; Sokka and Suki were thrown into a nearby water fountain while Iroh and Toph were scooped up onto the air scooter, Aang once again tried to stop as he balanced 3 people in his arms. All 4 crashed into the wall of the Tea shop and fell to the ground.

"Smooth, Twinkle Toes," Toph grumbled as she brushed dust out of her hair.

Iroh got up and examine the damage to the wall of his tea shop.

"You're lucky you didn't do any real damage to my tea shop," Iroh said as he glared at the Avatar.

"That was nothing compared to the time me and Kuzon rode a Cow Hippo through a china shop." The Airbender said replied with a goofy grin.

As everyone stood up brushing dust from their clothes, Aang apologized for the collision. Then he noticed Katara sitting on the steps of the Jasmine dragon's entrance...crying.

"Katara, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" Zuko asked

She shook her head.

"What's wrong with, Katara?" Aang asked Zuko who responded with a shrug.

Katara glanced up at the duo and held up the source of her grief.

"Oh man," Aang murmured.

Katara's necklace, which had once belong to her mother was severely damaged. The black cloth that was used to wrap the necklace around Katara's neck had been torn to shreds. The blue amulet was chipped, scratched and cracked in several places.

"Katara, I am so sorry," Aang whispered.

She looked up and glared at her friend.

Aang took a step back.

"I said I was sorry," the young airbender protested.

"It's just a necklace, calm down!" Toph shouted.

Zuko, Aang and Sokka exchanged nervous looks. Katara glared at the blind earth bender.

"How dare you?!" She snarled then began crying again and ran off.

Aang ran after her.

"Katara wait!" He shouted.

"Stay away, I hate you!" She screamed and used her water bending on a small fountain shooting a jet of water at Aang.

He flew back several feet and landed on his butt. Then put his head on his knees and sighed.

"She hates me," he whimpered.

He got up and stepped on something he looked down to see the broken necklace. The airbender carefully picked up the damaged piece of jewelry and placed it in his pocket.

"I'll try and fix it later, right now I need to fix something else," he said to the group.

"We'll catch up with you guys later."

He ran into the Jasmine Dragon to retrieve his staff. He extended the wings and took to the sky, searching high and low for the young water bender. Eventually he found her by a small pond feeding some turtle ducks. He quietly landed behind Katara, setting his staff down in the grass. He then quietly sat down behind her under the shade of a tree. He simply stared at his friend, wondering what to say. Then he slowly got up and sat down beside the young Water Tribe girl. Both were silent for a long time. Then he took a deep breath.

"Look, I know you're mad at me, and I'm sorry that I broke your Mom's necklace."

She remained silent.

"Katara, to me," he pleaded.

"I didn't mean to hurt you." He put a hand on her shoulder, but she pulled away.

"I know you didn't," she whispered.

"But this is worse than the time you burned my hands. If you really do care about me, then you'll leave me alone."

"Katara, I don't want you to be mad at me." He attempted to give his friend a hug, but she pushed him away.

"Aang...just go...please," she sobbed.

He stood up and shook his head mournfully. He grabbed his staff and flew off.

The rest of Team Avatar was elsewhere in the city, pondering on when this predicament would be resolved. Then Aang landed in the middle of the group, looking rather depressed.

"How did it go?" Zuko asked the young airbender.

"She definitely hates me," he replied.

"How about I go try and talk to her?" Mai suggested.

"Go ahead," Aang murmured.

As Mai left she shot Zuko a quick glance:

Try talking to him too. She seemed to be saying.

Zuko nodded.

"So you broke Katara's necklace," he murmmured

"It... was... an... accident!" Aang screamed his eyes and tattoos suddenly turned white, then he took a deep breath and the glowing stopped.

"Yes, I did," the young airbender whimpered.

"You know, before I joined your group, Mai and I had a fight on Ember Island," the Firelord explained

He went on to explain what happened during their vacation. But by the end of it, Aang still looked terrible.

Meanwhile Mai had managed to find Katara in the same spot Aang had left her.

"What do you want?" Katara growled.

"I want to talk to you," Mai replied.

"Talk to me about what?" Katara grumbled.

"The fight between you and Aang," Mai replied.

The young waterbender murmured something and covered her ears.

"Please just here me out, Katara," Mai pleaded.

"When Zuko left to join you guys on the day of the invasion, he left a note for me."

"What did it say?" Katara asked flatly.

"It basically said he wanted to break up with me," Mai replied.

"Were you mad?" The waterbender murmured staring at the ground.

"At first I was, but I misunderstood his intentions," Mai explained.

"He was trying to keep me out of trouble, he meant well by his actions, I just didn't realize until afterwards. Do you think Aang meant to crash into a wall and break your mother's necklace?"

Katara shook her head dejectedly.

"No, he was just trying to get us to Iroh's tea shop as fast as possible," she replied and continued to stare at the ground.

"You know what, I'm goanna try and talk to him later this evening."

The Water Tribe girl said slowly standing up.

"That's good," Mai replied.

"Come on, it's lunch time and the others are probably waiting for us, but I want to stop at the house first, Appa needs to have his lunch," Katara mumbled.

The two then walked off to meet their friends.

Meanwhile at the Jasmine Dragon, there was an Earth Kingdom messenger talking to Zuko. When he turned to face his friends his face was full of anger and worry.

"What's wrong?" Sokka asked.

"It's Azula, she escaped from the Boiling Rock last night."

Sokka collapsed with a heavy sigh.

"Did he just faint?" Toph asked.

"Yes, he did," Suki replied.

Then a red lightning bolt shot into the tea shop and blew apart the kitchen.

"Hello, Zu-Zu," a chilling voice sneered.

Aang, Zuko and Toph took fighting stances while Suki dragged Sokka out of harm's way. Aang lashed at Azula with an Air swipe from his staff. Toph launched a boulder at Azula head, and Zuko launched several fireballs from his fists. Azula managed to dodge Aang and Zuko's attacks but was hit in the gut with Toph's boulder. Which sent her flying into a nearby building.

"You...Earth Kingdom trash!" Azula snarled stumbling out from the building.

Azula shot a rapid succession of blue fire balls at the trio. Aang and Toph quickly brought a slab of stone up from the ground to block the Azula's attack. Then drawing water from a nearby fountain, Aang shot at dozen ice shards at Azula, one managed to stab her in the leg. The Fire Nation princess howled in pain and pulled the piece of ice from her knee, then launched another bolt of red lightning at our heroes. The resulting explosion sent them all flying.

Katara and Mai opened to the door to the house, only to find a shadowy figure sitting in the middle of the room. Mai drew her knives and Katara took a fighting stance.

"Who are you?" Mai demanded.

"I don't expect you to know who I am, but I'm sure you remember me Katara of the Water Tribe," Long Feng sneered stepping out of the shadows.

Aang fuzzy vision cleared up as he regained consciousness. He slowly stood up and looked around. Aang realized that Toph was shaking him.

Snap out of it, Twinkle Toes! She shouted.

Aang shook his head and looked at her.

"What happened?" He asked.

"The explosion knocked you out cold I thought you were dead, again," Toph explained

"Were's Zuko?" The airbender asked.

"He started chasing Azula after she mentioned something about their mom."
