|Avatar - Book 4: Light|
It’s been 3 long years since the terrible Hundred-Year War ended, and it seems, that at last peace has come to Team Avatar. Aang and Katara have kept a steady relationship and have traveled around the world solving any problems that come up. Toph opened up an academy and trains determined earthbenders in the glorious art of metalbending. Sokka became Chieftain of the Southern Water Tribe, but still has time for a relationship with Suki who resumed her duties on Kyoshi Island. It seems however, Firelord Zuko hasn’t achieved peace. True, he and Mai are dating, but he has spent his time scouring the world for his mother, but has been unsuccessful. However, when Aang is visited by Roku with warnings about an upcoming war that is tied in with Zuko, Team Avatar is thrown back together. Now, they’re in search of a land that lies at world’s end, a place called Masyaf. This is no ordinary land however. At this place lies a new art of bending that the world was thought lost forever. Here lies a darkness striving to find revenge. At this place, secrets will be unraveled that will bring Team Avatar ever closer to the Spirit World and will plunge the world back into civil war.
Aang – the current Avatar of the world has, over time, learned to be decisive and solve problems quickly. He is dating Katara, and is looking forward to a happy life. However, when Roku warns him of the upcoming war, he knows peace will have to wait
Zuko – the current Firelord of the world who, unlike his tyrannical father, has kept the world in balance. He has spent his time searching for his long-lost banished mother, though has been unsuccessful. However, he is determined to find this lost society in hopes his mother wil be there.
Katara – the, no doubt, best waterbender in the world. She has always created hope for her friends, and her skills are no match for others.
Toph – one of the best earthbenders in the world, Toph has always been hot-headed and stubborn. After the war, she expanded metalbending, and kept Lu Ten, or Omashu, under control. She is fearless and is sure that any problem that comes her way is no match for he prowess.
Sokka – the current Chieftain of the Southern Water Tribe who always provides comic relief. He has always bested foes with his trust boomerang, and he has always created strategies. He is planning to propose to Suki one day, but is scared of rejection.
Suki – the captain of the Kyoshi Warriors, courageous and strong. She has proved that females are just as powerful as males, and that they can do anything they wish. Suki hopes that one day she will marry Sokka.
Mai - the Firelady who is no longer the dull and boring person she used to be. She is now strong and powerful; not to mention, she's deadly with knives and darts. She is dating Zuko, and will always stay be his side.
Vesta – the evil villain of the story, who is the best lightbender out there. She is patient, cunning, and seductive; when she's fighting, she is brutal, sarcastic, and merciless. She plans to destroy Team Avatar.
Ahrim – the king of Masyaf, who has different intentions that may fool the Avatar. He hopes to take revenge on the world that forget him and his land.
Akuzon - an imprisoned lightbender who could be the key to stopping the war. He also might be related to Ursa, Zuko's mother. No older than thirteen, this adolescent has already seen the grim reality of life, but is willing to change it.
Shen - one of the few good soldiers of Masyaf, who is willing to help the Avatar. He has an infamous line of ancestry, but is skilled in the art of the sword and has plans for world peace.
The Reclaimer -a spirit of the First Civilization that lost its bending after abusing it. However, after years of intense meditation, practice, and studying of the darker side of the Spirit World, it "re-claimed" its bending, being the only spirit in the universe to have done so, and thus garnering the title - "The Reclaimer."
Book 1: Return Edit
I had the idea back in April 2012, but I wanted to wait until June to start writing the fanon because then I'd be off-school. It started well with a few readers, but I entered a hiatus in order to garner more reviews. Eventually, I decided to revise the whole fanon mid-way through August. I re-wrote the plot and story-outline, and I began all the way from the beginning at Chapter 1, which wason September 3, 2012. There will be 2 books. Book 1 is "Return", and is about Team Avatar's return to saving the world. Book 1 will deal more with lightbending, Ursa, and the island at world's end. Book 2 will be called "Rise", and will be about the Avatar rising to defeat the lightbenders, all the rebel factions, and find his duty in the world. Book 2 will probably be out next year. Book 1 will be around 10-15 chapters, and Book 2 will be around the same. I have a lot of awesome plot elements coming up in Book 2. So

Firstly, and most importantly, this is obviously dedicated to Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko for creating a brilliant kid-friendly T.V. series that amazing everyone with its thriling action and heart; they also created a near-perfect sequel that takes the story to a whole new level and turns the action up a notch. This is also dedicated to Annawantimes, who helped me with all my questions and got me started with this fanon, and I hope that one day he will become an admin. This is also dedicated to Lady Lostris and The Bos who gave me kind welcomes to the Avatar Wikia. Lastly, this is dedicated to everyone who is part of this wikia, for I wrote this for YOU, and even if no one reads this, I will never stop. Alright, I think that is all.
