Avatar: The Legend of Mel is a fanon story created by MateyY. It is planned to be split into three books, two of which have already been completed. The first book's finale was released on March 28, 2012, and the second book is to be released of April 8, 2012. It is currently edited and formatted.

Plot Edit

After Avatar Korra saved Republic City from the vicious Equalists, she retired and had a nice happy life. But, unfortunately, her times for this world was ended. All of the new cycle was started. The new Avatar was born, Avatar Mel. But with his birth, a new threat arose. The new Fire Lord was not like the last two Fire Lords, but had the dream that once her great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and great-great-great-grandfather. And so she started a new, much more vicious war. Much progress was lost - all types of inventions and discoveries were stolen and used for the sake of the Fire Nation royal family. But the Fire Mistress did not stop there - she captured the air temples and made them huge factories. She melted the Northern Water Tribe. And even though Avatar Mel had mastered all four elements, he still could not beat the vicious Fire Nation armies and their Fire Mistress. And then Avatar Mel discovered that the Avatar state was locked. What was he supposed to do? What did he do? Let's dive into the upcoming, three book series and find out what an Avatar who experience glory and appreciation, and hate and disgrace, did.

Book One: Mel of the Earth Kingdom was the beginning of the Legend of Mel trilogy. While going through many hardships, Mel achieved very much. He found hope to help him on his way. The Restoration Project Edit

The Restoration Project is a project aiming to improve the quality and amount of detail in the chapters of Book One: Mel of the Earth Kingdom. It was inspired by Azulazulazula in the review of the first book. The project officially began on April 2 and is still in development.

Book Two: Zu Yang's DaughterEdit

(April 8, 2012 — )

Book Two: Zu Yang's Daughter is the second installment in The Legend of Mel series. It tells of Mel and Hope's further adventures, struggles and battles. The book is under official release of April 8.

Characters Edit

• Avatar Aang - Avatar Aang has now earned his honorary spot in the Spirit World, and he is a part of the Avatar Council. He opposes the locking of the Avatar state, though.
• Avatar Mel - The main protagonist of the story and the new Avatar. He faces many problems in his strive to save the world.
• Avatar Yangchen - The Air Nomad Avatar before Aang who helps Mel on his journey. She is considered the most mysterious Avatar that was introduced in the original series.
• Azula - In this series, Azula will make several very important appearances. Without her help, the world will fall.
• Great Fire Sage Chan - The current Great fire sage who serves the Fire Mistress.
• Fire Mistress/Fire Witch - The main antagonist of the story who plots to bring full destruction to the world.
• Hope - A Fire Nation girl who is not fond at all of the Fire Mistress's ways. She has suffered much, but helps Mel of his way to save the world wholeheartedly.
• Unnamed Avatars - All the Avatars who are a part of the Avatar Council. They are planned to make two appearances in the series.
• Unnamed Fire Sages - The fire sages are the third authority of the Fire Nation (after the Fire Mistress and the Great fire sage). They serve the Mistress with their lives, because they are afraid of loosing them.
