|The Journey Begins|
Avatar: The Last Airbender: Book 4: Air
The second chapter in Dennis Fielder's Book 4: Air story.
Team Avatar prepares to leave to search for Ursa with Iroh staying there to watch the Fire Nation in Zuko's place. They began their search in the South Pole to allow Katara to meet with her family as well. There, Paku returns Sokka's sword and boomerang to him, having found them after the liberation of Ba Sing Se. Meanwhile, Mai takes a look around the South Pole with Aang, Katara, Suki, and Toph, with her feet in boots. Just before they leave to search the Earth Kingdom, Hakoda advices Zuko never to give up his search, which Zuko thanks him for.
This chapter was mostly designed to allow Sokka to get his boomerang and sword back while also allowing the return of Kanna, Paku, and Hakoda to the story.
- Just before leaving, Sokka asks about the blubber seal jerky, which Zuko used to start a campfire, similar to what happened just before Aang, Katara, and Sokka arrived at the Southern Air Temple shortly after Aang was released from the iceberg.
- The wrecked ship Hama and the Waterbenders stopped is seen again, with Hama getting a mention.
